Frank Harris was born near Bromsgrove in 1908.
Aged 20 he signed for first division Cardiff City but the Welsh side had dropped to the third tier by 1933 when he joined Jimmy Seed's rebuild of Charlton, also at the third level.
Harris played 38 league games in 1933/34, scoring once.
The next season, 1934/35, Charlton won the Third Division South by eight points and Harris scored seven goals in 40 league games.
The following year, another promotion season, Frank was no longer a regular, making only four starts. He left for Brierly Hill Alliance in 1936 and never played league football again.

The auction drew a lot of media attention for other items such as a match worn Bobby Charlton Man Utd shirt from the 1960s which was sold for £15,000.
Over the years, largely due to the hard work of @charltonnick and @cafc999 and the generosity of many fans who donated items, bought shirts, poster and badges etc and some very big cash donations and legacies, we've built up a reserve that allows us to buy these sort of special and historic artefacts.
Harris' gold medal, thankfully, went for a lower, four figure sum, and the Charlton Athletic museum bought it.
It's now on display in museum (left) along with that of George Robinson.
We have the medal but we're now over a grand lighter in the bank account so any top ups welcome.
Neither do we have a 1943 or 1945 medal either.
We have two 1946 and four 1947 medals.
We have Dai Astley's 1929 Div 3 South winners medal.
Pride of place is our 1906/07 Lewisham League Winner's Medal but there were over 300 pre-league medals won and we only have a few of those.
