    Has joined Bolton on loan.

Hopefully this doesn't mean they're not interested in Ahadme.

Was probably on bigger wages than Gas at Hull, although Bolton likely only paying g a percentage. I sadly think this scuppers it.

Hull city are in a bit of a mess. Trying to please the EFL by moving burstow off the wage bill. Well, partly off as I doubt Bolton are paying all of his wages.

he wasn't rated much at hull last season by the fans. In normal circumstances they would put him on loan to a league 1 club. But these are not normal circumstances so they just hope they can bring someone else in as they don't have much up front.

Ahadme could do a job for them imo. Just a question of whether we would loan him to Champ rival? Food for thought.

From reports it sounded like Bolton wanted a couple of forwards so assume this doesn’t mean Ahadme interest has cooled. At least I hope not.

Worst case, the story linking him will have hopefully alerted other clubs who might think they’re getting a deal if Bolton were interested but he ends up with them instead

Hmm... Can you really class Ahadme as a... "Forward"... the devil is in the details.

my thoughts are that Bolton are not a Championship rival.

On the flip side apparently it leaves Hull with 1 striker left at the club, Kyle Joseph. Last season he played 16 games and scored 0 goals. In total he has played 26 games at Championship level and never scored.

He has tbf scored 27 goals in League One. Although it did take him 128 appearances to score those.

He’s needed to drop down to league 1 for a while. Chelsea pitched him too high for his first loan, which should have been to league 1 rather than to Sunderland. Hopefully this move can kickstart his career

Indeed, 3 goals in 50 championship games. Not exactly prolific.

After spending so much on Kelman I doubt we could afford to pay whatever Bolton would demand to take Ahadme.

You've jinxed it. He's nailed on to score a hat trick against us.

I think it is a safe assumption, for this season at least.

    Bolton are in League 1

Wasn’t his first loan back to us?

Yes. and he was crap. Didn't score a single goal. I didn't rate him before Chelsea bought him for a million.

True I had forgotten that. But he then had a year at Chelsea which would have massively helped his development and he did well at PL2 level.

If he’d gone to league 1 then I think his career would have turned out much better, but they sent him to Sunderland who had promotion ambitions in the championship, and he just wasn’t near that level.

I think league 1 is his level and he has potential to be a championship striker. But trying to be a championship striker before he’s ready has held him back so far

Thought Burstow looked quite lively that half, linked up play well. Bolton unfortunate to be behind.

I thought he never looks like scoring - which ultimately is what you want a striker to do - some pretty passes but missed an open goal.

Can only see his career going on a downward trajectory now.

He was blatantly pulled back I thought, clear penalty

Tbf to him, I think he'll go elsewhere and do okay.
