Laughable though how some fan’s opinion switch can flip from one side to the other so much on just one signing.
For me personally I was begging for a player that improves us and losing Williams and Maddison at once without signing Jaiyesimi (or another decent player that clan play on the wing or attacking midfield) would have left us lacking.
It looked like all the decent options were exhausted and I personally rate the lad.
Still think an onside Maddison is a great player, but it seems that Maddison died sometime last season.
Isn't it nice that for once we're the club signing a good young player rather than the other way around? Looking forward to the summer rebuild as much as the rest of the season. Hopefully without a wage cap to deal with.

i'm being serious believe it or not - i'm happy with the signing and the window - we clearly missed out on the champ CB we wanted but got smyth instead and now a league 1 winger as planned and that people seem to think is good so its all good and the plans seem to be coming together - COYR !!!!!!

Well well well!! I take back my previous underwhelmed comment, and say congrats to TS, LB and SG for getting this lad in. He ripped us apart at their place and scored. He played well at the valley also. He is just what we need and very pacey if I remember!
I feel sorry for Swindon fans, but also feel they owe us one as they are a bogey team for us. I remember when they were bottom of the league and beat us 1-0 to a Dean Kiely own goal to stop us picking up the record number of wins in c2000. I still have nightmares about the Charlie Austin goal and Nicky Bailey penalty in the playoffs in 2010. Then they got 2 draws against us this season, including a last minute equaliser. Screw’em!
Excellent. The only disappointment with this window would have been if we hadn't been able to pick up a winger. We managed that now so we're looking stocked all over the pitch. This signing looks a lot better than I'd hoped as well. 22 years old, 4 goals and 3 assists in 17 appearances and seemingly a permanent signing. Great news for us and I imagine this will turn around a lot of people's views of our window.
We have really fucked over Swindon though. Which is good, because I hate them. Who's skying play-off final penalties now you pricks?!
