I went to Graham Tutt's testimonial game v Sunderland but don't remember this game being played. Was it before the main match or on a different occasion? If the former then my memory is worse than I thought.

I am pretty sure that Malcolm McDonald made a guest appearance for Charlton in the game against Sunderland. He was awesome and his speed made the rest look like a team of geriatrics.

I saw the game, Dennis Waterman was quality as I remember.

Three of the keepers' team played for us (John Dunn, Jeff Wood and Tony Burns) plus our former number two to Curbs, Mervyn Day - and not as per the programme, Melvyn!

Are you on drugs....? I thought I was going mad thinking the 2nd one in on the left back row was Douglas Adams.

Does half a bottle of Prosecco count?
Mike Rutherford and that fella who used to present the local news on ITV in the early eighties then.
