    O'Neill confirmed

Interestingly he'll take charge if N Ireland have a playoff game
If memory serves (I wont bank on it), the Wales and N Ireland jobs at one time were part time and usually done by a league manager on his days off. Of course, today, there is much more international football.

Reports circulating that Mark Hughes!!!!! is the man Everton want if they get rid of Silva.

To say Everton fans have reacted badly to this news is an understatement.

Could be a well timed “leak” in my opinion to gauge fans opinions, although what reaction other than “no f-ing way” they would have expected is a mystery.

I wonder how much longer the Arsenal players can put up with Emery squeaking at them .. named after an abrasive cloth and a voice like a frightened mouse

Another dinosaur is the same bracket as Allardyce and Pulis.  How the likes of Hughes and Pardew continue to get jobs is beyond me. I’m also not quite sure where Everton actually expect to be finishing in the league - if it’s top 6 then they are expecting too much.

They should be going for a younger, up and coming manager like Lee Bowyer Alex Neil

Leak Hughes so if you keep Silva or choose anyone else a bit underwhelming (Moyes?!) it's not so bad by comparison maybe.

For sure - Neil, Lee Johnson, the bloke at Norwich etc etc are the way to go.

Yes, Pardew said he was going to sign for us, but he then appeared to change his mind after chatting to him/watching us play.

I remember this - he was all set to sign, watched A midweek game and then didn’t sign.

Jolley is I suspect, another whizz kid with great tactical and man management theories, along with multiple diplomas and degrees, but just did not have the quality of player to put his theories into practice .. another great youth coach and poor league manager perhaps

It seem that an expletive laden interview with a BBC journalist was one of the reasons Jolley was sacked

A warning to Bowyer there, however annoying @LouisMend might be, watch your language  :D
With 58 expletives in 4 minutes I do wonder how many non bleeped words were actually transmitted!

I've met Fenty and when it comes to 'industrial language', he is a hive of industry ((:>)
Not surprised that Jolley let the pressure get to him, Fenty is a very hard taskmaster and the club is run on a very small budget, no bad thing, but success usually costs a few extra quid
