THD had a great game as Right back against Wednesday in that 3-1 win. Remember the move which left Bannon on his arse.
since his sending off in 10 minutes (2 yellows ) he seems to have become another outcast.
he should be in the 18 every week as he can play in 4 different positions.
Don't let Roland see this, he will be telling Jose to only field 8 players............more cost savings
I'm lucky I read this before leaving work, I might find the last line a more difficult mathematical problem in a couple of hours, but I think it makes sense now....
Don't get this. Why not just keep him in the building for the last 9 games?
Arguably playing him in our last 9 games in the Championship will more likely do him more harm than good.
Not really sure why? But anyway, I just meant that with so few games left, why bother sending players out? Even if there's a chance we'd need him for, say, 2 games - or maybe just cover on the bench or whatever - let's keep all of our options available. Fox has had a torrid few months, so it makes no sense to arbitrarily remove an option for that position.

As mentioned above, can't be a football decision.
Fox has played pretty well the last couple of matches, and we have plenty of cover in THD's position.
It makes sense for THD to get some first team football, rather than wasting 2 months on the bench
As far as defensive Left Backs, we have Lennon and Fox. For wingbacks, we have Bergdich and Yun. I'd rather he go and hopefully play 9 games rather than scrap to make the 18 for the run in.
I have to say I don't quite get the hype around him, it feels like one of those the grass is always greener when compared to Fox. He looks decent going forward, not brilliant. But defensively, his positioning and lack of physicality make him a liability. When he was moved to left sided midfield against Ipswich he looked awful (to be fair, not his position). He's done a job at Right Back a couple times, and fair play to him, but the sending off against Forest was incredibly daft and made him look like a young player lacking matches and good decision making. For me, this loan makes sense.

I imagine he'll get a lot of game time there.
Went on the Oldham site yesterday and the manager Sheridan had him at Plymouth and rates him quite highly.

Disagree. I think a team in our position should keep everyone available, particularly as I believe he is a better player than Fox and should be pushing Suk-Young for a starting place.
A few weeks ago Begdich was playing well, Mak had just had a resergence and looked great. Things can changed very quickly, and I think it makes sense to keep all options open while we fight relegation.
Not sure that 7 or 8 games in the Oldham setup will hugely benefit him or us at this point in the season.
Oldham are winnable games next season, he might help keep them up this season Could be 6 points lost towards next seasons relegation battle - Roly, you havent thought your plan out.
Reckon he's going to be an important player next season BUT
Playing youngsters before they're ready over experience is what has got us in this mess... Holmes-Dennis is a great talent, he was brilliant at Birmingham and whilst I think he's ready, he's not what we need on the pitch when we're fighting for survival... this isnt the time for kids making mistakes which could effect them forever

Callum Harriott was sent there earlier in the season for the same reason so expect others to do the same.

(And I thought it was Jaywick?)

Nonetheless, a very decent player and I'd rather we had him here, and in the first team.

Good experience for next season in all honesty.
