Cousins on another level that half, Riga has clearly just told them to go for it and he is having to do so much. Still don't trust us at the back but I probably wouldn't even if we were playing defensive anyway so why not, most dangerous we've been in absolutely ages.
Wondered what the hell JBG was doing there by not shooting, wasnt impressed with him in the first half until that moment
Igor has fully deserved that goal, he's back to his old self now and is doing well with Bergdich and Makienok
Defensively we still look fragile which is making Rotherham look better than they are... Stroud keeping to tradition, first gave us a throw-in (ball didnt go out) when Teixeira was obviously pushed so we should have had a free kick then just before Half-Time gave us a throw in before realising that it should have been in Rotherham's favour so gave it the other way
Why is our defense so narrow? Biggest threat from Rotherham have been coming down the sides, yet Solly and Fox are never anywhere near when the balls coming in.
I think the effect that Riga has had on the team is immense; we really looked like a good team in that half. I like the way he has the lads tackling and applying pressure deep in the Rotherham half.
It reminds me of Huddersfield's manager saying he was disappointed with the 5-0, and that the result was really because he'd never faced an opposing team who played so far back. We've really stopped that, and we're playing proper football and applying pressure in all the right places.
Special mention for Cousins and Igor; both are putting in bags of effort but Igor was pretty unlucky with his first touch for the majority of the match, his goal was well deserved. For a player who's had such a small amount of game time recently he's doing a good job.
It's also worth pointing out how quick Hendo has been releasing the ball, there's been no delays and he seems to be throwing it out to the wings as quickly as he can - which is really helping us gain ground quickly. Our counterattack looks quick and dangerous, which I seem to recall was something Riga employed last time he was here.
HT - a thoroughly deserved 1-2, a good display with lots of positives.

Our distribution is appalling at times what has happened to that side of our game
Spooky.
Who is the no 14 up front for us? A new signing?
