  • Don't expect a reply. She'll assume that children don't know how to use email and that is an angry customer pretending to be a child.
  • If we all think about it, really hard like, at the same time like. Maybe!

You make the wax effigy, Mutts and I'll supply the pins.

I'm sure you could have all guessed this would happen iv checked my emails and guess what not even a sniff of a reply I could sort of understand if it was me sending her an email but my upset son who blatantly told her he's going to support another team because he's having the piss taken out of him at school and she can't find the time to reply

I don't want to sound funny Dan, but why on earth would you think she'd be interested in losing your son as a Charlton fan when the Perfecto Flouro Tech album was only released last week.

Seriously, I hope you and your son can find more fun together following Rangers than you'd get going to Charlton (shouldn't be too difficult).

It breaks my heart walking away but him being happy is more important
  • Dan, I've met your son and he's a lovely boy.

It is a crying shame what is happening to him.

Would you or he mind if Spell it Out use this story and his email in our campaign? If not that is fine and I'd fully understand.

Good luck but I still hope you get gubbed 4 times by Celtic next season : - )
  • Yeah that's fine mate even if he doesn't want to come back it may help with the future generation

Yes, I tell my son about those days. When the crowd sucked the ball in the net. It could be electric and was exhilirating to be part of it. It feels so different now. Dull and lifeless. When opponents score you feel like laughing now! It is pretty sad and depressing. I remember when the ref rightly sent Steve Brown off and we threw the merchandise catalogues on the pitch and created such a toxic atmosphere that I said to my brother- that ref will send of one off theirs now, which he did wrongly and we won the game. An extreme example but that is what it was like. Unbelievable to those who weren't there and didn't see it for themselves.

I also remember Curbs giving fans a team talk through his interviews. If we were a bit subdued we would be told. When we did well he would praise us. What a great manager that bloke was. He made us feel part of the team, and I'm sure in his mind we were. What a contrast with recent years! A criminal waste that he hasn't worked for so long since taking West Ham to a tribunal. Especially as he got them out of the proverbial the year we went down. The owner is in such a toxic mess, but appointing Curbs would change the whole direction. I can dream. We know he is too stupid to do that! I might take in Stevenage - my now local team - until Charlton is fixed. As it stands, I wont be buying season tickets for me or my family next season.

No secret, it's just easier to tell a story when it's about a real person rather than fans in general.

I want to tell the media etc what KM is doing.
  • My 15 year old boy is still interested ( although not going as we have 100 mile round trip and I won't go as part of the unloved generation) and possibly the generation Katrien wants to recruit. He asked me for a home shirt for Xmas and, against my by better instincts, I ordered one. The one they sent was 2 sizes too small. We both just thought, they can't even get that right. Roland/Meire/Fraeye out.

It's a joke right now do they not realise they are hurting the future I think iv done well keeping him away from supporting the glory boys and now the once great family club have taken it out of my hands

He would love that 2 years ago he wouldn't say boo to a goose now he has got his own YouTube channel he's really come out of himself.im glad coz if he hadn't he would never have sent that email
  • After he sent it he was worried he might have upset her but that's the sort of boy he is
  • she has to read it for it to upset her. All the best, hopefully both our lads will be back supporting this great club into adulthood.

  • That's where we sit
  • Dan sorry to hear about your boy if your going to watch Rangers do what I did and hand your season cards into the ticket office like I did .It's a pity more people don't do this it would send home a better message then protests IMO. Good luck mate
  • My brother was gonna do the same but he's just gonna leave it so they can see he's not using it

She would probably change the name on it like they did when they sent them out and sell it to some poor sod
  • @Henry Irving is there anything you need from me or the boy before Saturday or are you planning on using his story later on
