im not going tomorrow because we are run by clowns
More fool you, the club will be here after Roland, we've had Glikstein in the past, Slater and Jiminez as well, but at the end of the day the club is there for us.
It offers us a family, friendship, passion, excitement, laughter, joy, as well as tears, disappointment, embarrassment, anger and sadness, but it's our club and because we truly love it we should always endeavour to attend matches, cheer the team on and support Charlton Athletic.
And that's why, come 2.30pm, I will have walked down the hill from the chippy, bought a programme on Floyd Road, and entered the turnstiles to take my seat in the East Stand, because Charlton Athletic is my football club, and nothing will change that
Leeds are one of the only teams left in the country than can bring an atmosphere out, as in the home fans too, the Valley is always that much more lively when they're in town. I have a Leeds supporting Uncle and Cousin who are in the away end so catch up with them. And also der.. It's Saturday what else you gonna do?

This is exactly how I had felt for a long time. Only good bit being pre and post match (the middle bit trying to spoil a good day out). Now?, the football we are playing is an absolutely joy to watch, superb.
We are still down there, however, there is a huge buzz about the place, an excitement we have not had for years.
Keep the faith, things can turn round very quickly in an incredibly short space of time.
I go. Win Lose or Draw. Love it. Metaphor for life....Yes the stuff in the background is there to be discussed but no way would it stop me going and I may even buy a black and white scarf tomorrow (if I can find one) So you can happily protest whilst there and love every minute of it because Charlton are on the pitch and playing. Like I say win lose or draw.

Yeah, since Powell got the bullet, you've flown up the table. Whoops sorry, you've fallen into the relegation mire.
Remember the Leeds home game two years ago when it was delayed till 3:30pm and all the Leeds fans warmed up for half hour singing "We all love Leeds". It certainly gave their players a lift.

I'm going as im a fan and I'm fed up with other Charlton fan moaning 24/7. I don't care what league we are in ill still. 19th season ticket in a row and counting.
You're going to a Charlton game because you're fed up with moaning Charlton fans? I can see a slight flaw in that plan.

so there's only two that go now - didn't realise it had got that bad

First two paragraphs were great.
But at 14.30 you need to be outside the main entrance.

Then what do you do for half an hour?
Thumb through the programme, put a couple of optimistic bets on and watch the team warm up.

I'm going tomorrow to support my team. Even though the ex is using the season tickets I paid for, I will be getting another ticket. I'm hoping for a home win.
Because I haven't seen my mates for a while and I've got my hands on a beautiful 1991 home shirt that needs to lose it's game virginity. The game is an irrelevant side issue.

No thanks, I'm not on board with the protest
Of course you're not. Look at our manager and wake up.
Why wouldn't I...!? Have a season ticket and can't wait for home games. Not such a big away follower (family commitments and all that). But will drive up from Herne Bay in full anticipation of a win. Not happy with the boardroom and back-office stuff but that will never stop me supporting the team on the pitch. Every week, as the Saturday nears, I get excited about the game... Yes I'd like a Championship experienced manager, would love some quality additions to the team and to see more goals - but I'll never stop hoping or going (although relegation will make me think a bit about that last bit...).

I hate the way the club is being run, but I still have that connection to the club that represents my local area and my family.

Also for my son and I, it's our time together and we love it.

I have an account, I pay for playerHD. I have one adult and two children season tickets.
Why can't I buy a ticket for tomorrow's game?
You're not selling it. I'm a strict 2.57 man.
