    It'll be a draw then...

  • Team for Saturday then maybe?

    Pope
    Solly - Ben-Haim - Bikey - Fox
    Gudmundsson - Buyens - Cousins - Harriott
    Church - Vetokele
  • Went to Sparrow's Lane to see the first half then came home to thaw-out. Not impressed by George, who looked mainly totally disinterested, and missed 3 or 4 decent chances before he did score- running on to a high bouncing clearance, beat the solitary defender to the bounce, managed a decent touch then netted. His work-rate was modest at best, Pigott and Church both far more involved and the Pig went close with two chances, header just over from 6 yards and drive just over from 18 yards. Some good stuff from Bulot, solid defence and good 'keeping from Phillips. Church first game back after injury, playing wide right, some good touches, seemed to be feeling his shoulder a bit but pleased to see he started 2nd half AND scored.
  • George's workrate when he come on Saturday i thought was 'modest at best'.

Wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't really want to be here, to be honest.
  • Maybe its tiredness seeing that he's got a newborn so could be up half the night...

He should have chosen his baby-mother better
  • How many did QPR bring? Bet they didn't sell out their end.
  • Just back from Sparrows lane, good workout against a very young QPR side. Tucudean mostly disinterested, took his goal well. Church played wide right didn't see much of the action first half but came more into it in second. He hit it quite hard for his goal. But is nowhere near fit enough for Saturday.
Was talking to a QPR Academy coach, who hates Redknapp. He said the youngsters have no chance of being pushed through into the first team while he is Manager.
Didn't look like Tucudean was injured, it looked like he was being withdrawn on orders.

  • any of the management team watching?
  • I think Bob was on the sidelines over the other side.

He must have been sitting or crouching then as you normally can't miss him. :-) thanks for the updates.
  • Was George injured, or just laying down having an afternoon nap?
  • I'm rinsing it for all its worth. It wasn't even that good of a save....

  • I see QPR had Darnell Furlong in their team, son of Paul, though he's a defender

I didn't see Bob there, but I wasn't really watching.
