Gudmondsson and Coquelin...

Technically the two best players we've had since the Prem years ?

Personally, i think Poyet has a good argument for being included, but interested in what others think.

Who else do you think could be considered?

    Andy Reid as well?

Gudmondsson is class. We need to get him on the ball more often though. I'd agree that they are the two most gifted technically see the PL days. Hope Coq can hang around quite a while longer.

    Buyens as well

Probably Buyens as well, him and Gudmondson have class on the ball that stands out. Both are also slightly suspect defensively

2 year deal, so perhaps he means extend his contract.

Both are up there as far as technical ability and ball control goes. Poyet, Ajdarevic and Reid also top notch for technique.

Yann for me is still number one. Could do it all with his feet and his head. The overheard kick he scored for Bournemouth at the weekend was incredible.

I'd also give a nod to Kyel Reid who had a brilliant touch and delivery/shot on him for League One.

Kermogant's goal was a scissor kick ... not an overhead kick. Quality finish, none the less... just splitting hairs :-)

Interesting that Arsenal have a vertically challenged fullback playing CH, alongside a slow German and a much hyped 19yo with their defence leaking like a seive but Jenkinson is out on loan to Hammers where he is excelling.

Never seen a centre back read the game so well.

Andy Reid was a premiership signing, he isn't 'since' either.

He is. Although he joined when in the Prem, he also played for us when we were in the Championship. Thats since the Premiership.

Gudmundsson & Reid are the two stand out players in recent years but neither can hold a light to Claus Jensen, the most skillfully player I have seen in a charlton shirt since his fellow countryman Alan Simonsen graced the valley turf.
