I'm coming up from Cornwall for the game on Saturday.

How do I get in the Lib to catch up with some of you Lifers - I won't be able to buy a ticket in advance?

I'm only up the road, I can pop down tomorrow and grab you a ticket? PM me!

@oggyRed - have arranged a ticket for you but need to hear from you asap (check your messages)

They are £6 apparantly but that comes with a bite to eat and a drink

How do you tag someone in a post if their user name is 2 words ??

Not sure about other pubs, but you need a ticket for the Lib

Funny that. A football ticket takes precedence over a C&I Union card. Not sure whether that is within the C&I rules.
You may be alright with a CIU mate. Worth a go anyway.
Thank you BO'C. I will probably give it a try.

I'm not sure - they have a capacity limit and it is ticket only (under police advice or instruction I imagine)
  • you won't get in sat with just your CIU card
  • The Anchor is definitely open. I was in there lunch time & asked. It's not open after though, as there's a private party.
  • British Oak for me

  • Anyone know if any local pubs to the ground are open after the game? Always prefer to let the train queues for down.

    Thanks.

Is a good old school pub

  • Will Bartrams be open @ the ground?
  • All pubs are open!! We fear no ... Oh wait!

I shall be in the Bugle.
  • I remember Millwall pretty much took over the Angerstein at the bottom of my road before last year's game. Well I saw lots of stone island, so can only assume
  • They are fecking welcome to it!
  • The landlord is a millwall fan

    The pit (disgusting pub).

The landlord is a Millwall fan and he's a massive bellend as well.

Wouldn't give that pub the steam off my piss.

Just spoke to my mate who I'm going to the game with, he has arranged to meet up with another mate (who's not going to the game) at a new pub in Woolwich in the old Equitable building...anyone been in there before?

  • Yes it's very nice and very convenient for the station!

Do you like craft beers? Lots if different ones. Stay off the Cornish Pilsner... Cost me 4.80 for a pint!

That place could get 'taken over' by 3 wigan fans.

Mate is a bit of a beer snob, but I don't mind a drop of real ale....seems like 'craft' beers are becoming more popular now.

Went in there after the 4-4 as it was the first open pub on the way home. Absolutely full of scum, exceptionally heavy snowfall in the gents, as you'd expect.

They'd sort that dandruff problem if they showered once in a while

Perhaps instead of the traditional coins, flares and razor blades we could get the A-Block ultras to viciously hurl soap, shower gel and scented bath oils into the Jimmy Seed Stand tomorrow.

    Wow.
I remember opening my first bank account in the Equitable building as a kid.
Ironic that I'll most likely end up emptying my bank account in there tomorrow.

  • That looks smart. Like Jarman, I had my first account in the Equitable as a kid, can't believe its the same place. Thanks for the photos CE.
