I have a sneaky feeling we may get Tony Watt at some point, Although I dont follow SL religiously, every time I look he,seems to be on the bench & not really doing much.
Not in the know but just speculating. We have looked to bring in some decent quality in the last couple of weeks yet no striker when that is the position that is glaringly weakest. I know Bob has said they are too expensive or not better than what we have but I just have a feeling we have one from overseas lined up and are prepared to struggle on until January. It's the only reason I can think of.

100% this I was there today - put another top striker next to Vetokele and we are going to stroll through games like today...win more often than not. The case for signing a top, top striker has never been stronger. To build this squad they've shelled out one fee for Vetokele a few loan fees plus an inter network fee for Tucudean. We've gone from the bottom third to the top third for buttons and we need to stay there so as to rebuild the club.
Igor on 8 goals so we forgive him the 7 or so chances he has missed or had saved by the goalkeeper, because he's class and is a little gem.
George has only scored 2, and has missed or had saved 6 or so other chances.
I don't have any problem with strikers missing chances. Only with strikers who never get in goal scoring positions and we've had enough of those over the years.
Until we bring in someone better, George has got to keep working on that training ground.
Tucadean proved in 2 games this season he has talent, he can't allow it to go missing in the other games.
David Rodríguez has scored quite a few for Alcorcón this season despite them having a pretty mediocre season. He did have a fairly unillustrious short spell at Brighton last year but could be worth a look as a loan from one of our network clubs.

Maybe that's just me though.

No striker scores if he's not in the right place at the right time.
At least George is getting in the right places.
