I'm watching West Ham Hull now, would be interesting to watch Poyet play to see if he would make a difference, West Ham looking like they will deffo be in the relegation scrap.
Would be funny if we got in Poyet on a season long loan, go up and West Ham go the other way. Unlikely though.
Really? So you think hull have be superior in this match do you?
No, but I'd say Hull are generally a better side. They aren't playing their best at the moment though.
Not that I mentioned Hull being better anyway, I just don't rate West Ham and they would be in my top5 relegation candidates list.

You must watch a lot of hull and west ham to determine who is generally the better side.
When two teams are playing and you say one of them us relegation candidates you dint need to say you think the other on is better. Its a given. What is probably more correct is you dislike west ham more than you do hull.
Thought that was a good game tbh, Valencias goal was a beaut. Great effort by Hernandez too.
I would warm a bit more to Poyet on loan if he was an apologetic sap and improved us, think it would be very harsh to exclude the players we have now after what he did though. Definitely a double edged sword situation if he did end up here again.
Edit: pretty much ate my words too, thought West Ham really stepped up second half and passed well and with intent.
2 poor teams based on what i've seen so far in the prem. West Ham and Hull must be hoping there are 3 worse teams than themselves this season.Gary Neville suggested the same.
West Ham and Hull will both be fine this season both will finish mid table. They are both clearly better then the likes of Qpr, Palace, Wba, Burnley and Stoke and on par with 4 or 5 more.
If anyone thinks that poyet will have more positive influence on games than Jackson then you need your head testing.
I'm guessing you didn't witness how poyet pretty much controlled every game last year?
Horrific statement to make mate, Jackson is a hard worker but the class the poyet has on the ball would have a greater impact and influence on a game than jacksons hard work.

Maybe not Poyet in the Prem v Jacko in the Champs .
I really don't think Poyet and Buyens in the centre would work very well. They both do the same job. If we're going to replace Jackson, it needs to be someone who is going to drive us up the pitch and provide a goal threat. As pretty as Poyet played last season, we know he doesn't do that.

It wouldn't work in this team. No way. Jackson has more of a positive effect. Look how we fall apart in midfield every time he goes off
Jackson is a leader who scores and creates goals. In that respect he played a much bigger role in keeping us up than Poyet ever did. Unfair to compare them really though. Different types of player. I'd rather have our own players developing than Poyet in our team.
I don't think anyone is doubting Poyet's ability or credentials to play CM in the championship but it's whether a partnership of Buyens and Poyet would have the right balance of defending and transitioning into attack.
JJ has had a positive influence on CAFC because he has scored 42 league goals in 5 seasons. not bad for a guy who came as a full back.
Poyet Is a good young player but Buyens is doing the job that Diego did, Plus he takes a mean penalty.
All CAFC fans need their Head testing Greenie junior, you must know that by now. Soapbox junior has talked me into going to Rotherham on saturday (how mad is that)
NEY YORK NEW YORK, another new ground (went to old ground, we lost)

Moussa? Problem is, we're relying on him to play as an attacker, due to lack of options in that position.............

Yep , we have not seen Moussa actually start a game or really played in his correct position. Can I just say what if Buyens gets injured? Poyet would be an ideal replacement. And finally please stop this silly talk of promotion, 3 or 4 players short for that to happen.

Poyet is better than Jackson.
I dont want him back but if he did it would surely mean Jackson would be on the bench or possibly out on the left with Cousins sacrificed for the undroppable.

I'm not disputing whether he's a better player. I know he is. I'm saying Jacko has more positive influence on our team and I stand by that

Can see your point however i believe better players make a better team. In my opinion you need to be the best in that position first and everything else like leadership second.
Are people on here mad? A few months ago we were saying we should only let Poyet go for £3-4 million, and now we don't need him. We've had a good start but we have a smallish squad and injury/fitness doubts about Solly/ Jackson/ Gudmunssen, how could we not be boosted by the return of Diego.
He obviously still cares for the club/ex team mates and I would be delighted if he returned. It's understandable If anyone harbours grudges because of the way he left, but I think in similar circumstances most in his position would have done the same and there's no point cutting off our noses etc.

We've had a few good games and everyone is getting carried away.
We will fall into mid table.
I hope this is one of those comments that people find and quote to prove me wrong in a years time.
