although the general sale system from from the word go....is just better and more simple right?
Disagree completely. That wouldn't be a system at all, just chaos and would be unfair to those that go away the most. Remember when they did something like this for Swindon.
Ok at least some leniency towards the most loyal fans. After that 1st come 1st serve.
How will the Club know who these "most loyal" fans are other than the points system they have?
Its not a perfect system but it is open and transparant.
Dont like the fact the valley gold get first dibs as not all of us can aford it? I struggle to buy 4 adult season tickets so cant afford vg as well so im penalised for being poor!

There has to be an incentive others ways not as many people would join and provide essentials funds for the academy.
With the same logic you could say that someone who has been a fans for years but cant afford a season ticket is penalised.

I don't like the fact I games are played in England. I struggle to make it home once a year so I'm penalised for living in China!
There has to be some reward for those who partly finance our academy, this really does seem the fairest way of doing it.
For the sake of £2.50 a week which is about a pound less than a pint of lager, if I was going to feel like disgusted of chatham every time a popular away game sold out to valley gold I would sign up.
Tenner a month is worth it for that alone surely, and if you go to most of the aways, money is not the issue. Just join VG and stop crying about things being unfair.
I joined because my mate WSS has won the prize about five times and felt that I wouldn't miss a tenner for the benefit of the club. If anyone wants to use my VG number for away games with restrictions they don't want to miss give me a shout and you'll be welcome to it. I'll think you were a liberty taker, but wouldn't stand in a loyal away fans way of getting a ticket for a game I'm not attending
I could afford if I wanted to realy Thats not the issue Just the principal Think away stubs is the best way (just my view) Maybee all championship stadiums should have to hold at least 20000 as some are league 2 standard at best?

How would away stubs work over the phone?
How long you you have to keep them?
So as Bournemouth don't have a 20k stadium they should be denied promotion?
Wonder how many of these vg members will be 1st in line for a away Ticket against doncaster on a cold tuesday night in january?
I don't get your problem with VG. Its open to all and if you cant get a ticket for Bournemouth then i assume you did not do 4 away's last year let alone somehwere liek Donny on a Tuesday niight>
I looked at VG on the site to see what I could get with it.
It looks good but to get preferential treatment for away games you need to have been a member for at least 3months so anyone thinking about it should do it now.

Actually, it's £2.3076923 per week so even cheaper than you first thought...

Just to clarify, that restriction only applies if you choose to pay monthly. You can also pay quarterly, six monthly or annually.

Yeah, you can't join on Thursday, buy a ticket on Friday and cancel it on Monday.

Valley Gold is a subscription that 'buys' people preference for tickets, and the four aways is, in my View, proof of regular support.
I don't see what else the club can do!

Or you could just join Valley Gold

If you go to so many away games you must have a ticket anyway. Right?
