Oh yeah, congrats on looking safe piggy, I like going to Hillsborough. Already looking forward to your insightful words of wisdom next season. Make sure you come back y'hear!
I thought they were very respectful to our youth team players at half time. Good in number but not that vocal. Didn't hear any offensive songs from them.
One Leeds flag did have 'Vile Animals' on it. I can't quite remember who called them that. :-)
When we played Leeds in the playoffs all those years ago I drove up to Elland Road for the game with a mate and the route going north had far more cars bearing Leeds colours than it did Charlton. Of those Leeds fans at The Valley yesterday I would think more than a third would be from south of Watford.

That was the most intimidating atmosphere I have experienced- it seemed to me every Leeds fan in Birmingham was dragging their knuckles that day. I recall Bremner coming on the pitch in front of us in extra time when they opened the scoring - which I thought lacked a bit of class. Then two goals from a player who hadn't scored for us previously.

City of Leeds has a population of 750,000, making it the 3rd biggest city in the UK. And Leeds United are the only League club in the city.
Debatable stat that though oggy, some would say London, Birmingham, Manchester are the biggest cities in the country in that order with Sheffield being 4th however some sites claim L**ds are now 4th, I'm not so sure anymore, however, we still get bigger gates then them and they are the only club the city of L**ds has, they also have a big catchment area around them in North Yorkshire where as we have clubs around us like Sheff Utd, Barnsley, Doncaster and Rotherham.
They do have for some strange reason quite a lot of support from down South too.

They have. We advertised for burglers in the 70's and they applied.
When I was at school in the seventies, the glory-hunters of the day supported Liverpool or Leeds. There must be a few thousand who stuck with Leeds and have passed it on a generation or two. Add that to the Yorkies working in London and you get a good Southern based support.
Afew of them mouthing of behaving like pratts queing up for the down train, nobody bothered with them but pretty much putting yourself on offer behaving like that.Dare say someone will oblige them at some stage,

Though tbf, Leeds is good for a night out and some of the women there are gorgeous!

A team can take as many numbers as they like but it doesn't measure the 'quality' of their support.
Scummy club Leeds are. Millwall of the north.
It is a good night out tho!
