Can't be arsed

Now there must be a few.
After watching some complete dross served up at home this season.
Will you renew, or turn up on the day?
Not for me, i'm afraid.
I would honestly spend the remainder of the season watching Welling at home.

Arsed? That's what I always thought the phrase was?

Regardless, I support the club and the badge, not the football on the pitch so I'll be there as long as I can go.
  • Through thick and thin otherwise your not a true fan.
  • What is a true fan
  • It is "can't be arsed"

I'm getting to that point where as a family man with very little disposable income I would rather spend it on something I know I will enjoy and Charlton Athletic aint it right now.

Will always be my team no doubt but may need a break from it.
  • I'd like to give it up because i don't enjoy it all, but I can't. I'm addicted and love the club too much.
  • You surely can't have expected us to win as many home games this season as we did last year?

Last season was a dream. This season is normal.

Granted, I thought we would have had a few more than 4 by this stage, but on the other hand I never expected us to get anything away at Leicester, Blackpool etc.
  • If I still lived down there I'd go every week but its not worth the petrol money for me at the minute. If you live nearby and have a season ticket I can't see why you wouldn't want to take a few hours out of your Saturday win, lose or draw unless you have other plans.
  • Not that i am looking for glory, just a group that justify my admittance fee.

No the Valium has worn off beds as I have left the valley a good few hours ago
  • Guy behind me said "tell me why we should pay more for our season tickets" - can't help feeling he's got a point!
  • Millwall to come maybe our brave lads will muster a draw to send us all into derby delirium
  • They need some creatine ;-)

  • yeah, lets all disappear when its tough and then we'll come back again when its rosy and claim we've stuck with them through thick and thin.

supporters support the team if they don't want to support them because they're not very good then by all means stop going.

you won't be missed by me.
  • Lol creatine would be wasted on them

    Better players next season?

Saying that is like complaining about public transport fare increases when the current service is crap - you're paying more to make it better in future, not because it's good now.

Likewise our door tickets are very cheap, as are our season tickets, and we don't have an expensive squad.

No fair weather supporters here at Fanackapan Towers.

Keep the faith , guys and gals.

After the game I walked straight round to the West Stand ticket office and parted with £18 to stand on a terrace on Tuesday night and watch them at Peterborough. I'm not sure if it was a wonderful example of commitment or a sign of mental illness.

I don't think anyone is talking about stopping supporting the club so stop with the "we don't need ya" stuff. But asking if the club can justify raising ticket prices in the current climate, with the product that's currently on offer is justified.
  • We've got to all pull through this together.
  • If it keeps the negativity out of the Valley, I'm all for the fairweatherers staying well away.
  • Fellas who don't go to games calling for a boycott of season tickets takes the fucking biscuit.

Tell you what, go or don't go - its up to you. Don't be telling me what to do tjough, particularly if you take every opportunity to slag off the club - and that's my club, not yours - clearly.
