From what I have heard and read, he is going to be an excellent signing. I see him as Skipper material.0

Surprised he's dropped down so low, as he's only 34SheedyCAFC said:Signed for Bath City earlier http://footballexclusives.com/bath-city-snap-up-matt-taylor-on-free-transfer/#.VrpurEXfWnM

Baring in mind how solid he was for us as well, a big surprise that no Football League clubs wanted himkillerandflash said:

Surprised we didn't go in for him, we need more centre backs at the moment1

Was just reading the first posts with Exeter fans saying how he'd be 3rd / 4th choice... In the end he became a great servant for the club in terms of his effort and performances, did really well alongside Morrison and was unfortunate to be dropped for Cort4

He was great in his first season for us. Not the most mobile but solid and calm and a natural leader. Shame the game didn't bring him greater rewards but he came to us fairly late in his career after starting in non-league, I think. Good luck to him.
One of the reasons for our success that year was Powell/Chapple bringing in good characters like Matt Taylor and matching them on the field with the right people, like Morro.9
