We didnt feel Hudson leaving was a bad thing and went on to captain Cardiff to the play-offs.

    Let's just wait and see.

gotta have faith in powell he's obviously aware of the injury and probably made sure in the medical it was something we could handle.
also we've got another month for it to heal up, im sure it won't be a factor.

I know what you mean, I wouldn't be surprised if a not so exciting signing like this ends up impressing.

Addick living in exeter here! City fans saying he's not good enough is rubbish, the vast majority love matt taylor, think hes been player of the year twice in the last couple of years! He has been a colussus in defence for city and have seen him many times, he is a more than capable centre half at this level, and certainly better than doherty...

He should be a good signing for you. He is a no-nonsence centre half and just gets on with his job. If anything his weakness is a yard of pace and this is  is likely to prevent him from going further than a league one player. He does have an issue with his back and missed quite a lot of games at the start of the season and seems to get the odd spasm and misses the odd game. He used to spend a lot time in my old gym just streching but very much keep himself to him self.

Dont believe the bit about him being 5 11 he is not. He also has a good scoring record from corners

The fans were not happy when we signed as he came from Team Bath and nicknamed him the southern league oil tanker - how wrong can fans be. He did play for Burscough in goal in the fa trophy final and was a late converter to an outfield player. All in all he never let us down and played a big part in getting us back in league, sad to see him go but I think the time was right  for him if he wanted to devolpe further.

He won't let you down and  Ithink you will glad you signed him. I hope he does well he desrves too

The injury was at the beginning of the season and he didn't play until November after which he played 32 games. Played in goal for Adam Stansfield's benefit game at the end of the season so can't be that much of a problem. Passed a medical today.

Know exeter really well, and deighted with this signing. I posted about him about a month ago when he first was linked and after talking to his sister believed he was going back up north. True leader of men, really happy with this signing

Another good quality signing, will win everything in the air.  If he's back to full fitness he'll get the armband.  Nice bloke too, gave out the trophies at my sons football club last season & good cricketer as well apparently.

Heard about him for a few years, so happy we've got him. Only concern I have is Exeter fans saying he has back problems, hopefully we can get that sorted.

I like the fact that Exeter people regard him as a leader and a winner.

That's exactly what we've been lacking.

Not saying it's an accurate thing to go by (but better than most info on the interweb) buut according to Football Manager, he's 6'1, not 5'11. And for anyone who thinks a couple of inches doesn't make a difference, try telling my ex wife!

Yes, If we have an absolute keeping crisis and only one keeper, may for the odd game save us having to go out and get somebody just to sit on the bench.
