Want him to stay. Will only be here for another 6 months, would have scored Saturday if it hadn't of been for a great save from their keeper. Unless I'm mistaken we don't seem to have a plethora of talent who can play left midfield.
Has talent but is not a winger so either play him in the role that was given to Shelvey where he can be effective or get rid of him now when we can get a fee and save on his wages of £40k pw.
I made up the £40kpw but everyone else does so why not : - )
perhaps it is Spring whom they are signing. Hasn't signed his contract yet and if the rumours are true that we are not signing Brown as he wants a permanent deal, well who knows.
[cite]Posted By: Dazzler21[/cite]Darren HAS TALENT HE JUST NEEDS TO FIND IT AGAIN!
He's been struggling to find it for the last 2 years so I don't see any reason why he's going to turn it on now.
Yes he talent but he doesn't use it enough. He has little impact on a game - he was a highly rated prem player a few years ago, he should be taking games by the scruff of the neck.
He's gone at the end of the season now, I'd be happy to see him go to be honest.
I'd be disappointed if it was Holland, though the article does say "experienced midfielder", so I don't know if Ambrose falls into that category.

I agree with this one for sure.

Funny thing you mentioning D Bent, he would have had a field day against Forest with those through balls from Shelvey.[/quote]
Yeah I always see Ambrose at Bluewater too. Then again loads of footballers are there all the time. Last week it graced the presence of Scott Parker and Kanu too!
Ambrose is slow and does not have the ability to beat a player, he is certainly not a winger.
Last season showed he can score goals but if you score one goal every 4 games (a good ratio from midfield) BUT contribute nothing else you become a luxury no one wants.

Hammer... nail.... head.... hit! Jensen was a lightweight and consdidered a luxury by some but he was never guilty of just ambking about oblivious to the opposition - he always tracked back and picked a man up, meaning he at least had nuisance value. Ambrose might as well not be on the pitch for long periods of games. Which is a shame but despite the odd flash of talent, he just doesn't do enough.

Can we bung them Hudson and Burton too?
But we need another winger, if not two, and we can release Ambrose at the end of the season anyway.

He never seems to put it together or try 100%, I think a lot of Charlton fans have given up on him.
That talent might not be on a football pitch though.
Vital Sheffield Wednesday doesn't even know who are in our team!
tbf reading some of the reoprts on here, most of your own players don't know who's in the team at the moment.

What Striker wouldn't of!!!!!! Oh Deon........
Yeah I said when Burton missed both of them if only we had Darren Bent up front, would have scored at least one of them.
says it all really.

Just to remind some of you what you said about him!

Best finisher at the club.
