I would say Bristol last night were better to watch than about six or seven Premier League Teams i have seen. Perhaps Ooh Aah should consider for every Arsenal or Manu there is a Bolton or Stoke sorry i meant Spurs (Sorry Johnboy).
[cite]Posted By: oohaahmortimer[/cite]yeah bristol played some reasonable stuff against a poor charlton side but i'd rather see us lose to arsenal and watch the best football in the world than second tier stuff we've got at the moment...
Well you can't. Tough.
This is where we are. Continually going on about the past, and i really do mean continually in your case, gets us absolutely nowhere.

I AM NOT ALONE!!!!
Thanks AFKA.
Would you actually pay to go and watch arsenal away or would you still just sit in front of your pc, rocking away and driblling and moaning about how no one goes to the away games, and how we were like brazil in the 90s when curbishley was in charge?
Everyone always says that in this league everyone can beat anyone (Norwich 5 - 2 Wolves - hello?!). Which is true. And what that means is that the teams that go down are those that can't beat anyone - like us, on last night's showing.
i would like to kid myself and think this is terrific but i can't and it's absolute gash. sorry i can't come up with anything positive but for the last couple of years it has been complete toilet. good luck to those who are enjoying it.
yeah but the championship is so much tighter a league .... we're 5 points from moving from 24th to 21st... where as 20th place(bottom) in the prem are 5 points from 11th in that league....................

I don't think any of those sides would swap where they are for our position. In fact I would feel that right now they would be happy with their current standings.
Tell you what - lets knock up a sweep on the next time a post made about six months ago will be brought back from the dead to say 'I told you so' or 'were you really right to want the Championship over the Premiership' or 'be careful what you wish for' or 'we never should have got rid of the women's team' or some other old bollocks.
It's certainly a breath of fresh air and fun at the moment.
But as Ketters says, if we were out of our depth, embroiled in a relegation fight and just been battered by relegation rivals away from home on the proverbial wet & windy Wednesday night up north - who now leapfrog Charlton to leave us rock bottom with 3 games to go..........
