Quite sad about this. Back in 1980/81 where my first charlton shirt was bought (Edit: Fads the sponsor then, thanks Henry). Bike and ski shop specialist these days and still the same family, involved if not owning to this day. Close to Forest Hill station just off the south circ.

Possible electrical bike fault. Hope those in flats above and nearby, and of course fire crews come through unscathed.

Oct 25th?  With your ability to see the future, you must make a killing on the football pools.

Finches advertised on the back of the programme and produced videos of games (which the museum would love to digitise) but Fads were the shirt sponsors.

    Hope no one was hurt.

Not great I attended a house fire between Christmas and New Year about three years ago.  It was a huge house, about six bedrooms all lost as the battery went into thermal runaway on a remote control car. 10 minutes for the first attendance but the house was a total loss.  Hopefully nobody was injured or worse, whilst horrible most property can be rebuilt or replaced.

The hit that Marc Cohn failed to write.

I'm amazed that Finches is/was still there.  The end-of-season and individual match videos were things of joy.

I used to particularly enjoy the on screen players graphics (holding the teamsheet up to the camera).

I may be misremembering ... but didn't we also get to enjoy a full 15 minutes of half-time on some occasions?

I remember driving all the way from Bexley to Forest Hill to buy match videos when they came out.

Fires due to batteries on e bikes are quite common I think. Should be kept outside I suppose but that's not possible for a lot of people.

Quite handy for bike thieves too.
But takeaway food doesn't deliver itself, does it?
