Hi all, back again!
Going to be doing what I've done before and making a chronological timeline of different transfer rumours. Please leave all chat to the other thread, unless its chat about how fantastic, handsome, and wonderful I am for compiling this. This is just for people who are too busy to sift through pages of talk to get to the original sources. Obviously going to be blank for a little while whilst I add various news stories.
Up the Addicks! Come on you Reds!!!

Charlton Athletic Plotting Raid on League Two Outfit
https://therealefl.co.uk/2025/04/07/charlton-athletic-plotting-raid-on-league-two-outfit/
Charlton Athletic are reportedly preparing a move to bring former academy graduate Brendan Wiredu back to The Valley this summer, with League Two side Fleetwood Town likely to face a battle to keep hold of their captain.
The 25-year-old, who was released by Charlton earlier in his career, has become a central figure at Fleetwood under Pete Wild, playing 37 games this season and scoring twice. His leadership and defensive displays have made him one of the club’s standout performers despite their underwhelming league position.
Wiredu's stock on the rise
Fleetwood are set to miss out on the play-offs this campaign, and with Wiredu under contract until 2026, any summer transfer would likely require a substantial fee. However, interest is building, and Charlton are joined by fellow League One promotion hopefuls Huddersfield Town in monitoring the situation.
In the winter window, Wigan were close to signing the former Colechester United man, but an injury prevented that from progressing. That failed January switch hasn’t dampened enthusiasm from elsewhere. Now, Charlton are seriously considering bringing Wiredu back into the fold as part of their long-term plans—particularly with promotion to the Championship still a mathematical possibility this season.
Wiredu’s versatility and consistent performances would make him a valuable addition to any League One or Championship side. The fact that he captains Fleetwood highlights his maturity and leadership qualities, traits Charlton boss Nathan Jones will value highly should the move materialise.
For Fleetwood, losing Wiredu would be a significant blow—especially given his importance on and off the pitch. However, the financial boost from his sale could provide Wild with the resources to rebuild a squad capable of pushing for promotion back to League One.
Writer's view
This is a transfer that seems to make sense for all parties involved. Charlton would regain a more experienced and well-rounded version of a player they once developed, while Wiredu gets the chance to move back up the leagues.
Fleetwood may be reluctant to lose their captain, but the potential transfer fee could enable a squad refresh that better aligns with their long-term ambitions. If Charlton can seal the deal early, it could prove one of the more quietly effective moves of the summer.
"Heard third hand that we already have four players lined up.
No names, no positions, no idea if this depends on what division we are in."

Exclusive: Millwall and Preston make moves to sign Thierry Small
Millwall and Preston North End have registered their interest in signing Charlton Athletic defender Thierry Small, sources have told Football Insider.
Charlton have offered a new contract to Small, whose deal is set to expire in June.
Championship duo Millwall and Preston lead the race to sign the former Everton and Southampton left-back.
Small, 20, joined Charlton from the Saints on a free transfer in February 2024 and is now a regular for the League One outfit.
Charlton offer new deal to Millwall and Preston target Small
The youngster is a natural left-back but has played as a right winger for Nathan Jones at The Valley this season.
Small has made 42 appearances across all competitions for the Addicks this season, notching two goals and five assists.
He has also made his debut for England’s Under-20 side this term having previously played in the Under-18 set-up.
The Solihull-born star made just two combined appearances during his time at Everton and Southampton but is now playing regular first-team football in the third tier.
Small has also gained experience in recent seasons with loans at St Mirren and Port Vale.
Championship duo battle to sign Small
Millwall sit ninth in the Championship and are just five points adrift of a playoff place under manager Alex Neil.
Preston are 16th in the second tier but are seven points above the drop zone with just five games left to play in the 2024-25 campaign.
Charlton are in League One and sit fifth under Jones – which could set up a potential play-off semi-final against Stockport County next month.

Exclusive: Charlton Athletic, Wrexham, Bolton Wanderers & Portsmouth in transfer hunt for 7-goal forward
A host of EFL clubs, including Championship side Portsmouth and newly-promoted Wrexham, are keen on landing Northern Irish prospect Tomas Galvin this summer, sources have exclusively told Football League World.
The small nation across the Irish Sea has been the breeding ground for some talented players over the years, and Galvin could be the next one in-line to move to the English leagues.
Currently playing for NIFL Premiership side Dungannon Swifts, who sit fourth in the NIFL Premiership table, the 20-year-old attacker is being tracked by a number of second and third tier clubs, although it will cost to secure his services.
Wrexham, Bolton, Charlton & Portsmouth interested in Dungannon Swifts forward Tomas Galvin
FLW has been told that no fewer than four EFL sides have been tracking Galvin ahead of the summer transfer window.
Portsmouth are one of those, and they are no stranger to landing a punt from Northern Ireland, as they have seen versatile midfielder/full-back Terry Devlin - a former Dungannon player himself - become a success since his 2023 move from Glentoran.
Along with John Mousinho's Pompey in the mix are Wrexham, who secured their promotion to the Championship this past weekend, but both Bolton Wanderers and Charlton Athletic are also hoping to steal a march on their competition in the race for Galvin too.
Tomas Galvin has had an impressive season for Dungannon Swifts
A product of the Dungannon academy, Galvin made his first-team debut in April 2023, but it was the 2023-24 season where he had his real breakout, finding the back of the net 10 times in all competitions from 34 appearances.
Galvin has continued that impressive form into 2024-25, with seven goals in 35 outings, and that has come from just 16 starts, with the 20-year-old occupying other positions rather than just a central striker, such as playing in the number 10 role and wide out on the left flank.
"Players called Linton and Ivanov playing for the U21s today who maybe Konstantin Ivanov from Brentford Academy and Jahziel Linton from Spurs. Both LB/LWBs. Research via @Scoham
@Paddy Powell said "Max Kuczynski (Arsenal) played for the U18s on Saturday. He's a left back/left sided centre back, too.""
"Heard on Saturday that we were signing the Lincoln keeper. Long term deal"
"Kobie Hines-Leacock, midfielder, scored for U18s.
Trialist from Stoke.
Info from @Paddy Powell
He left Millwall in 2023 to sign for a bigger club in Stoke but it seems he has now been released.
Fair bet that he is a London lad.
Stoke described him as a winger but added that " We see him as an option at left back in the long-term too. Kobie is energetic, carries a good end product and is effective in one-v-one situations.""
"Ivanov has impressed, Linton less so so far, while on trial, I'm told."

Exclusive: Derby County, Blackburn Rovers and Millwall plot transfer for Charlton Athletic star
Derby County, Blackburn Rovers and Millwall are all involved in a five-way chase for Charlton Athletic’s Thierry Small, Football League World can exclusively reveal.
Small made 39 appearances as the Addicks secured a fourth-placed finish in the 2024/25 League One campaign, registering two goals and three assists.
His versatility has been a big asset for Charlton this term, with Small operating on either flank as a winger or at wing-back.
However, the 20-year-old’s future in South London could well depend on the outcome of Charlton’s bid to gain promotion back to the Championship via the play-offs, as a semi-final series against Wycombe Wanderers awaits.
Derby, Blackburn, Millwall and other Championship clubs chasing Charlton's Thierry Small
Sources close to FLW have revealed that Small is the subject of interest across the Championship.
It is understood that Preston North End, Blackburn, Millwall, Derby and Oxford United are all tracking the former Everton and Southampton prospect ahead of a potential switch this summer.
Small’s contract with Charlton is due to expire next month and the Addicks are hoping to retain him in the event of promotion back to the second-tier.
However, there is the worry of losing him if another season in League One beckons.
Charlton, of course, would be eligible to receive a compensation fee if Small were to leave at the end of his deal and find another club owing to his age, but that would likely pale in comparison to what could be collected in the market with the player under contract.
Charlton Athletic, Thierry Small retention may depend on promotion outcome
Charlton should have every chance of keeping Small exactly where he is if Jones can lead the side to promotion.
However, with so many Championship clubs taking an interest in his services, convincing Small to stay put and sign a new deal could be a tall order without the bargaining chip of second-tier football in 2025/26.
That’s only going to give Charlton an extra incentive ahead of their two-legged play-off semi-final against Wycombe, of which the first encounter will be played at Adams Park this Sunday.
Charlton, who have lost just three times since February, may fancy their chances against Wycombe, having claimed an imperious 4-0 victory away to the Chairboys just last month.

Charlton Athletic set to work off same transfer window wanted list even if they win League One promotion
The Addicks are in League One semi-final play-off action against Wycombe Wanderers tonight as they bid to reach the final at Wembley.
Charlton have been in England’s third tier since their relegation from the Championship in 2020.
Jones is the first boss to lead the South London club to the top six in England’s third tier since Lee Bowyer in the 2018-19 campaign, defeating Sunderland at Wembley.
The Welshman told the South London Press that success or failure in the play-offs does not mean having two different shopping lists.
“No, not really,” said Jones. “Because we know what we need. It is only recruitment wise, really.
“There are not two plans. It is the same list – it’s just if we’re a Championship side we’ll have a more realistic chance of getting our targets.
“We are very bold in our targets that we go for.
“This year we went after players who were in the Championship last season – and some in the Premier League. So that is the bold nature of our recruitment.
“What it does mean is that the higher league we are in probably the easier it will be to get our number one targets.”
Jones has previously stated his preference for permanent additions with only three of their signings this season being loan ones.
Allan Campbell’s stay from Luton Town was cut short in January and Tom McIntyre (Portsmouth) and Alex Gilbert (Middlesbrough) arrived in the winter window and have played the role of covering the defence and attacking midfield spots respectively.
Charlton have four senior players coming out of contract at the end of June.
Small has been linked with a number of second-tier clubs but Millwall – one of those mooted – are not believed to be pursuing him.
Right-back Tennai Watson and Chuks Aneke are also in the final weeks of their terms in SE7.

Exclusive: Charlton, Plymouth, Bolton & Peterborough in transfer hunt for Hertha Berlin midfielder
The transfer window does not officially open until June 1, but EFL teams are getting their business in order ahead of the start of next month in regards to players they want to bring in.
And whilst some do not know yet what division they are going to be in, including one of the interested parties when it comes to Ibrahim's services, they are considering a move for the 20-year-old's services.
Bolton Wanderers, Plymouth Argyle, Charlton Athletic & Peterborough United in Bradley Ibrahim chase
FLW has been told that four current League One sides are considering a move for midfielder Ibrahim this summer, following an impressive stint on loan with Crawley Town in League One last season.
Charlton Athletic - who are set to contest the third tier play-off final this weekend against Leyton Orient - are one of those teams, and they are joined in the running by recently relegated Plymouth Argyle, as well as both Peterborough United and Bolton Wanderers.
A former England youth international at under-18's level when he was on the books at Arsenal, 20-year-old Ibrahim started regularly for Crawley in 2024-25, both under Scott Lindsey in his two stints in charge, as well as Rob Elliott who was the manager in-between.
A combative midfield presence, Ibrahim also received 15 yellow cards over the course of the League One campaign, whilst completing 2.5 tackles per match, ranking fifth in the entire league for that stat per 90 minutes.
Bradley Ibrahim's Hertha Berlin contract situation amid League One transfer chase
Having spent seven years within Arsenal's youth setup after moving from QPR, Ibrahim departed the Gunners for pastures new in February 2024, joining Hertha Berlin on a three-and-a-half year contract.
Ibrahim is yet to play for Hertha's first-team, initially going into their B team setup upon arrival in Germany in the Regionalliga Northeast, where he played 11 times in the final few months of the 2023-24 season.
It could be an exit for Ibrahim though after a year-and-a-half contracted to the club in the German capital, with potential first-team football in League One on the horizon - or perhaps the Championship if Charlton are promoted and want the youngster to come into the fold at The Valley.
"Charlton are keen to sign Jordan Gabriel as a replacement for wanted man Thierry Small.
The Addicks have lined up Gabriel since he left Blackpool on a free and could make their move as they expect Small to move on.
Gabriel is also fancied by Port Vale and Mansfield as he decides where to go."

What are Dundee's chances of keeping hold of Josh Mulligan?
DavieDee asked: Is there any chance Dundee can keep a hold of Josh Mulligan?
The midfielder is out of contract at Dundee but still hasn’t agreed anything elsewhere yet.
Rangers have held talks but most transfer business is on hold until they sort their next manager.
A number of English Championship clubs are also interested, including newly-promoted Charlton Athletic. That could now become a major option.
Salford City are another team who like Mulligan, so he has options. If I was a betting man I would expect he would be moving on from Dens Park.
