heading down to the pub in Bromley for an ale or two, or three, or four...
  • And upon this charge
    Cry God for Harry, England
    and St George

Shows how much you know @Addickted, are you French or something?

25 October was the battle of Agincourt

That speech was at the siege of Harfleur earlier in the campaign.

So August to September then? Not April the 23rd.

In peace there's nothing so becomes a man

Not 25 October though as you claimed, Frenchie

The speech wasn't set on St Georges Day but it references St George and was written by someone born/baptised on 23 April.  Hence why I used it

Obviously all true Englishman reject the Norman yoke and prefer St Edmund, our true patron saint.
  • Hurrah Hurrah Hurrah!
  • Happy St George's Day one and all.

Well said Jon. Were you out there with him and is 2461 your last 4?

  • Actually the battle of Agincourt isn't decided until there is a " people's" vote

So do we keep on voting until the French win?

The French did win.  The Battle of Castillon - 17 July 1453
  • Just so everyone is clear, St George's Day is 29 or 30 April this year, depending on whether you are Catholic or Protestant, respectively.
