  • Chuffing chuffed.
  • Get in. Another clean sheet? Is that 4 in 6?

  • Well, it's not often we win our game in hand.

    What Shooters said.

  • Brilliant.
Well done to the team and travelling fans.
  • Good result. Bit of consistency and we'll be up there.
  • Another great read on the match thread. Much appreciated.
  • Managed to watch the last hour on Ifollow and the game looked even more comfortable than Saturday. Cullen and Bielik looked like our best players . I just hope the former isn't too badly injured because it's no coincidence that Cullen's good form has coincided with two wins and two clean sheets.

Yep, it was just the 2 games in the middle that tripped us up.

  • Good result. Happy to get back to back 2-0 wins - feels like progress but we must continue to build.
  • With regards to Cullen he looked concussed more than anything as just seemed to gingerly walk off the pitch
  • Great win that - expect to play a weaker side on Sunday unfortunately!, international breaks I’m not a fan of as travelling for some of our important players and a break in consistency.
  • Back in business, now can we please at least stay in the playoffs and push on!

Nice to get a stress free win and get the 2nd so we wasn't expecting the equaliser, hopefully injuries aren't too bad although Igor probably wont make a difference as he never plays.

Had his arm in a sling according to Mendez

  • Unless his head is in his elbow that doesn’t sound like concussion

No that’s Roland who doesn’t know his head from his elbow.

  • Good win, disappointing to hear about 2 more injuries
  • Could have a concussed elbow.
  • 2 dislocated shoulders in one game? FFS REALLY?!
  • Here's the match report on the Beeb site:

"Lyle Taylor's ninth league goal of the season helped Charlton climb back into the League One play-off places as the Addicks claimed victory at Walsall.

Taylor put Charlton ahead from the penalty spot after just six minutes, sending Liam Roberts the wrong way after Tariqe Fosu's clever turn in the area drew a clumsy foul from George Dobson.

The lively Fosu had already curled inches over from 15 yards on three minutes but Charlton suffered a blow when Igor Vetokele was carried off on a stretcher with a shoulder injury.

The Angolan's replacement, Karlan Grant, almost made it 2-0 from Taylor's cross on the brink of half-time but Roberts' fingertips foiled his header.

Charlton did double their lead in the 51st minute as a corner fell to Arsenal loanee Krystian Bielik six yards out and he lashed home.

Walsall took 77 minutes to register a shot on target as Morgan Ferrier's strike brought a diving save from Jed Steer but the 10th-placed Saddlers slipped to a fourth defeat in five league games."

  • Watched on i-Follow. A fairly comfortable win against a very poor Walsall side.

Cullen was outstanding for us in midfield - absolutely oozed quality whether it was breaking the opposition's attacks up or knocking passes around. If only Roland would eff off and someone come in with a few bob so that we could buy him permanently if we go up. (He's far too good for League 1). Will be sadly missed if he is out for long.

Actually, there wasn't a bad performance from anyone and if only we could take this consistency into the rest of the season a top 6 finish must be nailed on.

Finally, it will take me about 10 seconds to get home tonight - from the study to the living room. How I sympathise for the 328(?) diehards who went tonight ploughing their way back down the M1. This streaming stuff is great but it is a far greater danger to our football than the creation of a Super League as it is going to kill live attendances at this sort of match.
  • In a way Id hope were going to miss Cullen less than Vetokele - With him injured weve Pratley or Lapslie who can slot into the Midfield in his absense, we just wont have his passing ability.

On the other hand with Vetokele now injured it leaves us with Ajose or Hackett-Fairchild.

Not the best backup to Taylor and Grant
