Preseason Fixtures

I know we’ve all had enough of Charlton at the moment, after yesterday, and maybe I’m being a glutton for punishment.

But does anyone know when Preseason Fixtures will be announced, I thought we normally announced them in April?

so who would have decided what opposition we needed to face? Robinson I presume. These things have to be planned. Problem is the new manager might think the opposition for the games arranged are too weak, not of sufficient calibre, don’t play the style he wants to play against etc. This is one reason why Roland is already fucking up next season for us.

Eventually we will get to play over in Australia, I'm in.

We had an end of season tour over there in the 80's so it would not be the first time.

So who would be organizing the preseason games for Charlton then, we have no manager or CEO.

I don't believe managers organise the pre-season schedule, and while they can probably give some input into the caliber of team we would face it would be down to people behind the scenes to find opponents.

I doubt they organise it but they surely have a big influence in who we face, pull in the odd favour, speak to other managers etc. To suggest Chris Parkes decides who we play is weird.

we play the same sides nearly every year (or at least the same standard!)

I've liked this comment for the excellent use of "/ stroke" and nothing more.

We could all do with a double stroke now and then

Should be a flag for the space left between the / and the word stroke.
