Another Charlton fan gone RIP

This morning John Bates, my mother's cousin and nephew of my grandad, passed away aged just 69. He was rushed into hospital Monday night and was diagnosed with cancer of the lymph nodes then put into an induced coma which he didn't wake up from.
He was an avid and obsessed Addick who followed the team from a very young age. He gave me a replica of the 1960s shirt for my 21st birthday and will be greatly missed.
