Winter Headwear ( Non Itchy)

Now the temperature has plummeted in Britain this week, just wondering if any lifers had any tips for suitable headgear (non itchy) as I really struggle to find any to keep my bonce warm.

Plummeted? I am still wandering around outside in just my shirt. People are absolutely feeble about temperature.
    Especially old people.

Well by many definitions I'm old so that's not necessarily true.

Ah FFS rub it in why dont you?!?!
Tugging one's foreskin is more rubbing out than rubbing in, isn't it?

Sounds a bit uncomfortable, but to be fair probably not itchy.

Do you mean headwear or headgear?

Headwear = anything fashionable that is worn on the head; hats, caps, ballcaps, chapeaux, stocking caps, doo rags, cowboy hats, panamas, pith helmets, etc. Function is secondary. Obviously, there is also some functionality with headwear, but typically headwear does not serve any technical purpose.

Headgear = No fashion required! Headgear is anything worn on the head that has a specific technical function. The lighting and/or microscopic instruments worn by doctors is part of their "headgear," as would be a sporting helmet such as the helmets worn by American football players or downhill skiers or cyclists.

A good example of headgear is the awkward orthodontic appliance used to torture adolescents.:D The device usually consists of a frame made of heavy metal wire that goes into the mouth and is held in place by a wide elastic band that wraps around the head. It is used to help straighten teeth.

Not sure where construction helmets fit into the mix.
