For Sale - Clive Mendonca signed photos - Museum Fund Raiser

edited September 2017 in General Charlton
At the recent Legends game we managed to get Super Clive to sign a few photos as a fund raiser for the museum.

We're selling them on here first as Charlton Life have always been good to the museum (and they don't charge fees like ebay)

We've got a few of each but it is first come first served and when they are gone, they are gone as it's very hard to get hold of Clive with him living up North.

All photos come with a certificate of authenticity. Super Clive liked them so much he took a couple for himself.

There are two photos and two different sizes so four options. You are welcome to buy as many as you like.

Payment can be made via our bank account:

Charlton Athletic Museum
Nat West Bank
sort code 60 16 03
Account number 7377 2593

or via paypal to cafchistorian@gmail.com

Please contact @Charltonnick via the inbox with any queries about postage, collection etc as he does all the hard graft. You will need to tell him your name and address in any case and to let him know you've transfered money over.

The photos come in large (approx A3) size 16" x 12" and are priced £18 plus £2.95 postage and packing

and medium size (approx A4) 12" x 8" and are priced £12 plus £1.50 postage and packing

The options are a large or medium "guns" or a large or medium "goal" but you can buy both or even all four.

And in case you are wondering why we raise this money it is for the upkeep of the museum but also to acquire new items.

We have been offered a very rare collection of early Charlton items including a winners medal from the club's first league season, 1906/7, a 1923 share certificate, player passes from 1923, an advert free Royal box copy of the 1947 cup final programme, a letter from Jimmy Seed dated 1954, a 1922 letter from the supporters club to Scotty Kingsley, a turnstile counter from the Valley and a 1921 yearbook, the first ever.

In total that is going to cost us over £4,000 but these are such rare items (the 1906/7 medal is possibly the most valuable Charlton item both financially and historically in existance) that we will will never get another change to buy them. Some we already have on loan in the museum but the owner is selling and we need to keep them.

So that is why we get the photos done and autographed (stering work by @cafc999 ) and why we sell them, to raise money to secure our collective history.

So please help us by buying a picture or if you don't want a picture of one of our most iconic players just make a donation.

Thanks again for all the support.
