  • You missed Crystal Palarse one two weeks back. Not that I attended.

Kidbrooke camra one was a few weeks ago, very good.
  • Faversham beer festival in September
  • What sort of beer you after? Beavertown do an all drinks included one, but it's quite expensive. It's in the printworks at Surrey Quays. They have some top American breweries coming over for it.
  • Great British Beer Fest in London, first week in August. Mr Tatters working on the cider bar - over 100 to choose from.
  • Catford Beer Festival 23rd to 25th June.

Bit far for me to come unfortunately.
  • GBBF 8-12 August @ Olympia. Circa 900 beers to choose from!
Im going on the Thursday & Friday.

£11 seems a hell of a lot just for admission, assuming that your beer all has to be paid for on top. Do you get anything else for your money or is Camra just cashing in?

I can just about handle the Marstons but I don't think I'd like the taste of a blow job.

Note to self: stop posting halfway through bottle of wine.
  • Blackheath food Festival is on over the weekend of 8th July.

Okay it's not a beer festival and this sounds well middle class I know but I've been to the one on Clapham before and they are good fun with lots of food and booze and a bit of music if I remember rightly. Groupon have a voucher so you can get in fairly cheaply.

That's a fair point Stig, however that is just entry only. The selection is vast though and prices are lower than normal London prices.

It's well worth a visit IMO......plenty of food outlets too.

  • looking at reviews of last year the average price was £3.50 a pint.
  • off to the Tenterden beer fest Saturday --me and The Hat.Loverly place --steam trains and a top beer fest as well
  • Rebellion brewery Marlow 15 July. Throw a few quid in the charity pot and sup yourself stupid on at least five great ales.
  • A friend of mine runs the one at Tonbridge Juddians RFC 7th and 8th July and says it's very well supported

  • Best beer festival I've ever been to was the one on a beach on the south Bank of the Thames. Illegal yes, but fun it certainly was. Music from a DJ set playing Reggae and soul. Beer from local breweries and off licences getting in on the act. And of course drugs if you're so inclined. Great 4 hours before the river police got us to skirmish.

Went last night. Loads of beers and ciders (40-50), all kept very well and £3.50 a pint. Good family atmosphere with live music in the beer tent. Also a barbeque. Run by Sevenoaks Lions so for a good cause. 3-11 today.
  • Cambridge/Somerville We're Funked sour beer crawl today. Halfway through and my tastebuds have given up

That's where I ended up. Several pints of porter and a ghost chilli pickled egg. Window wide open, the neighbours probably thought we had a bear
  • The world just fell out my arse.
  • Ealing Wednesday. Hope the weather holds out.
  • At the GBBF to-day. Two beers in and having a thoroughly good time.
  • Got two festivals this week. Friday is the Southend Carnival BF, then on Saturday it's my very own Ale Test Fest
