Nice article in today's Telegraph about this illustrated with a cracking photo from 1956 of us playing in the snow at Stamford Bridge. Love these photos from the olden times of yore...

    Will try to link later.

I can deal with not playing on Christmas Day. Having both Christmas and New Years games away from home is a piss take though.

13 Years ago on boxing day we beat Chelsea 4-2.

Now we will lose to Milton keynes. (prove me wrong soft lads)

It's fixed now - Karl's had them in for their one-to-ones and they'll be all fired up.

The towers of a famous landmark in the background. When my brother used to take me to away games around the country, we would sometimes pop into the adjacent fun fair on the way home, so he could ogle the girls. He was about 10 years older than me, so I was happy to get a few goes on the rides every time, with the sounds of Johnny Remember Me, That'll Be the Day or The Wanderer blaring out over the tannoy system. A great day out.
