  • Some of these Premier League numpties should be careful what they wish for. Try Roland out instead.

Roland isn't the manager though. Oh wait.
  • I was so pissed off to hear an Arsenal fan explaining protests as being because "the club is in crisis". Jesus, how detached from the real world can you get!

It's devastating, there's an emergency crisis line for fans of rich clubs who've lost out to Leicester on 606, it's heart rending
  • I agree it is ridiculous. Wenger has failed miserably hasn't he.
There was also a banner that said Martinez nice man rubbish manager. God forbid.
  • .....in, out, in out, you shake it all about, you do the okey cokey and you turn yourself around,
  • Feel like coming out myself, oh hold on, I mean time for change with us as well.
  • They are fucking deluded.........................NOT the managers either!!
    They should try supporting Charlton!

  • A friend of mine was comparing Arsenal fans to Charlton fans, when we allegedly wanted Curbs out. I told him it wasn't true, we loved Curbs apart from a few loudmouths on 606. I don't think he believed me, the myth of how we forced Curbs out has become The Truth to many who believe what the media tell them.

It has. I saw it trotted out below the line on one of the daily arsenal articles about wenger. Infuriating to be compared to those self-entitled tosspots, especially as there were never any Curbs Out protests.

Deluded Fairy Land, awash with easy money, self importance and only sustainable while Sky and every other mega corporation needs to sell their, tired, monotonous and over priced wares to a retarded unsuspecting Joe public. That is my description of the Premiershite that is... and no, I did not have a dodgy King Prawn curry from the Sunlight Chinese takeaway last night!

That latter bit is probably true though, Everton are definitely underperforming for the talent they have, and Martinez is hopeless at organising a defence. He's had 3 years there, which is a fair time
  • Wenger - the 'Wenger out' fans are a disgrace. They are probably the same type of fans we all hate sitting near - moaning all game about every player/pass when you win 4-0. Credit to Wenger for his achievements at Arsenal and the English game.
Martinez - every Everton fan I know over here likes Martinez but feels he has under achieved with one of the best squads Everton has ever had and want him out, which has a bit of logic to it.
  • Ungrateful bastards. If I was Wenger I'd tell them to get stuffed and come to a nice club like Charlton where he'd be appreciated. But we are living in the Twitter age, where success and gratification has to be almost instantaneous. People's tolerance and patience levels generally are now next to zero. Long term planning and steady building are a thing of the past. It drives me insane. The stock market has become like a casino, with day traders and algorithms accounting for 90% of trades. Governments cannot implement any unpalatable policies for the long term good, for fear of being kicked out of office at the very next opportunity.
Seems to me that people's greed, intolerance and impatience is now making the world a miserable place to live.

I agree. A total disgrace. I hope people don't judge us in the same context. We have genuine reasons for our actions - the need to save our club. Wenger has guided Arsenal to the Champions League places every year despite tough competition. I do note that there are sizeable numbers of Arsenal fans disagreeing thank god.

It hasn't been the best season for Everton, but they have some very good players and it has been better than Villa's.
  • According to the BBC, around 100 Everton fans stayed behind after the Bournemouth match to protest.

That's quite cute really, isn't it?
  • This was what I posted as my facebook status yesterday:

"Laughing at the poor lickle Arsenal fans and their fourth place finish in the Prem not being enough, and the so sad Manchester United followers crying into their porridge because that nasty Mr Van Gaal might not get the sack if they win that rotten old FA cup - boo hoo hoo, you poor lickle soldiers, my fucking heart bleeds for you. Tell you what, I'll swop your perennial champions league places, and your "bad season" being a fifth place finish for our away day in Fleetwood next season, how about that, you whinging piss ants? FUCK OFF DUCHATALET! Morning all, have a lovely Sunday. Come on Leicester!"

A baggies supporting mate is fed up with Pulis too. Apparently he has been putting out sides with 4 centre halves and 4 holding midfielders, they have had no shots on goal seven times this season, and that's against the likes of Villa and Newcastle. It's not that he expects them to set the world alight, but they are just crap to watch.

Tony Pulis is the manager you appoint if you want to stay in the PL, and don't care how it's achieved. His teams are almost the anti Wenger, in that they're packed with physical CBs and defensive players. Other teams play attacking players at full back, WB on Saturday had a back 4 made up of 4 CBs!

Are Palace fans calling for Pardew to go? They've taken 8 points out of a possible 51 over 17 games since January - that's worse than us!

Perhaps he could still do a job for us, clear out all the decent players, bring in dozens of crap replacements, piss everyone off, strut around thinking he was gods gift, blame everyone else for any problems, and then ensure that we get relegated........ ere hold on, just had second thoughts, isn't that what he did last time and isn't that role now the boards responsibility?
  • Please leave Pardew at Palace and relegate them next season.
  • I used to think Martinez was a good manager but not since I read somewhere last year that he said 'playing style is more important than results' or something like that. So I kind of understand where Everton fans are coming from.

Arsenal fans on the other hand, are a complete joke.

Did well at Swansea. I remember them playing us off the park at The Valley a few years back. (Not difficult admittedly!)
  • Pardew can still mathematically (if unlikely) still work his special magic and take palace down.

Sooooo unlikely unfortunately with Norwich needing to beat Man U (A), Watford (H) and Everton (A).

Also Sunderland must beat Chelsea (H), Everton (H) and Watford (A).

Also, palace would need less than two points against Stoke (H) and Southampton (A).

Nearly managed it Alan, go on try a bit harder.

I had noticed that as well about Tony Pulis - it seems that he has become even more pragmatic and defensive in his mindset.

An entire back four made up of centre backs, and a midfield with hard tacklers and runners, but no flair or invention.

It is almost as if he says to his players, that the back eight stay behind the ball and stay solid, whilst if the two guys up front can nick us something on the break, then it will be a bonus.

It may work well, but it must be painful to watch at times.

I never saw his Swansea but I guess he did even better at Everton during his first year there. They played some of the best Premier League football I'd ever seen on TV. But they've gone downhill ever since last season and Martinez seems to refuse to work on the defence side of things, which I find really bizarre. He's having the same problem he had at Wigan and if he doesn't change his so-called philosophy, I don't think he'll sustain long-term success at any club - not that I'm concerned about it of course.

He said before their game agaisnt Newcastle that he desperately wanted them (Newcastle) to stay up. It was shocking I think.

There's zero chance of both Sunderland and Norwich winning all their remaining games and Palace not getting any points. But next season, it will be very interesting because that is likely to be the time when he'll eventually get found out.

Four CB's? LOL.... I've watched one WBA match this season. It was a goalless draw with Sunderland. My conclusion was that WBA were extremely hard to beat but no neutrals would be interested in watching a Tony Pulis side play. Even relegation scrappers Sunderland played better football than them that day...
