  • like Chapple and Roberts and all the other backroom staff from when we won League One.

  • Another top professional jumping ship. Who can blame him.
  • Rats leaving a sinking ship.
  • RD thinks he won't be missed. After all why do you need anyone that knows anything about football ? The master plan is working !
  • Roland probably didn't understand his job or the need for it.

Quality professional, good move for him, good luck to him.

Last one out please turn off the lights.

Ite ok we can replace him with Ine of the receptionists at the NHS call centre.

Pretty much the same as when Luzon went - anybody will do as a replacement.

  • I'm on a phone so can't do it. Can someone put Bloom into the search field of this site and remind everyone when he was last mentioned.

    Why?
To see in what regard he was / is held

He was in the back ground since 2011, but I hear he did good job, perhaps we wouldn't offer him an improved contract, or its just RD wanted to get rid of another cost from his dwindling income....Forest's gain, I fear, will yet again be our loss. Perhaps KM is going to double up!!

We haven't discussed the centre circle for a while either, guess we don't need that too.
Not the sofa for at least a few hours
  • Sports scientist, would he have had any influence in the fitness and physio of our players?

    Strength and conditioning, yes.

  • Hope we can get a Belge in quickly before those evil Chinese sports scientists come on board with their potions and what nots...

It'll be Rhino Horn (oooooh matron!!!), acupuncture etc, that's what Roly is trying to stop happening at Sparrows Lane....LOL
  • Never understood why we needed a sports scientist anyway.

Everyone knows all you need to do is swap the midfielders with the defenders at half time and you'll win most matches. Even I knew that!!

    And "spread out".
  • I think this can count as one of RD's rare good decisions.

    Thanks to Ketts, Dr Kish:

The Addicks may decide to recruit Bloom's replacement internally. Jared Roberts-Smith is currently Charlton's academy head of sports science.

Roberts-Smith also joined the Valley ranks in the summer of 2011, originally assisting ‎Bloom with the first team.

After five years‎ with the club, Roberts-Smith would relish the opportunity to be involved with the first team on a permanent basis.
