  • Haven't seen it yet but I fear another Yank flavoured re-writing if WW2
  • Not seen it yet, WW2 films are my favourite genre.
    Hope its a cracker.
I would be interested in any yours and any Lifers views.
  • Seeing it tonight ?
  • Tonight at 20.00. What's wrong with that?
  • Was lucky enough to go to the premier. Found it to be the most realistic portrayal of the dark horror of war that I have seen at the cinema. Quite difficult in places but a good film with some excellent performances.

If you don't know or can't work it out you don't deserve to know.
Please educate me instead of mugging me off.

I dont think anyone wants to say as it could be classed as a bite if you're on a wind up!
  • I thought this was going to be a thread about GH...
  • Going weird this thread already
  • Watched it Wednesday night. Very good film and sucks you in, few things I picked up on that weren't realistic but as a whole it was pretty hard-hitting. Brad Pitt plays his role perfectly.
  • I might go see it tomorrow, got other plans for tonight unfortunately.

I live in a different time zone (GMT+8) yet I've managed to arrange my whole evening/night around the 'big event'.

Anyway, I loved the director's film End of Watch so I have high hopes for this one. Glad to hear it's very good.
  • I think anyone who watches this film tonight is a Fool ham.
