That's the sort of answer I would have come up with in maths tests at school. I would have set out all my workings, made it absolutely clear what I was trying to do, got all the arithmetic right, but then got the answer completely wrong, having totally missed the point.

Does bodmas come into it if you just put the figures into a calculator....no.
That being the case the answer is 5.
If you were going it as a proper maths equation then the answer is 120.
Depends on the calculator, you can't put the whole equation into a standard calculator, so bodmas does apply, it's just that the calculator you're using is incapable of applying it.
Morning you have a decent calculator, like the ones recommended for GCSE and A level use, then you can enter the whole equation at once and the calculator will apply bodmas correctly.

A bit unbelievable reading through this thread really.... Like I said in a post a few weeks ago on here, I can't believe you are still arguing if it is 120 or 5. Here the "!" is just a trick. It doesn't change the very simple fact that the answer is 120. You can either say it's 2*60 or 5! or whatever equals 120. No disrespect but what did you learn exactly at school?😂
