Catering at Wembley.

What's it like?
Queues well managed?
What food is on offer?
What beers do they have?
Anyone know?

Standard stadium fayre. Pricey but not too ridiculous.
Queues not normally terrible, as the relatively high prices put many off.

    pies, chips, sweets, crisps,burgers etc

Expensive, yet Quick compared to the Valley
    Average quality
    Hot Dogs, Burgers etc
    No idea
Cheap lager last time I was there, but that was England Vs Netherlands Feb 2012, when SP played as captain.

Had a burger at an NFL game, was good, but maybe they are special NFL burgers or something.

It was £6.50 a pint (Budweiser) when I went for the NFL last year.  Probably gone up in price by now.

Beer is shite, overpriced however that is the case for nearly every football ground I have ever set foot in

Food will also be shite and overpriced, eat before you set foot in the ground

    I know.
But the occasion has overwhelmed me. I'm going so will try and enjoy and embrace it as much as possible.
My matchday routine usually included a tea at half time, sometimes a pasty. (I'm surprised no one referenced that!)

Went to Trophy final last year. Food very average, lager was like piss, and massively overpriced. No doubt it hasn't changed quality, and it's even more expensive.

    Are the queues well managed?

    Fucking hell, roll on Monday.
I've been to the stadium a few times in the last few years and the queues haven't been too bad.
I think it's because of the high prices.
You have barriers to separate the queues.
Mind you don't rely on me, it could be mega busy, who knows ?

I've been told by a Millwall fan, so someone that has a Wembley season ticket almost, that you can get (expensive) real ale at Wembley.

Reading above it seems that may not be the case after all.

Its so card payments only inside the stadium

Wouldn't be at all surprised Clive. The volume of dodgy notes being passed when I was at the last England v Scotland game was laughable. They were being handed out as you joined the queue. Didn't see any refused.

My dad took me to Wembley in 1963 to watch inter AC Milan v Benfica, European Cup Final.

He gave me half a crown at half time, and I came back with 2 cups of tea, a bacon roll a packet of Smiths Crisps and 10 Woodbines.

    I hope that helps B)

They do have a lot of outlets which helps the queue

I think better beer is available on level 2 (sure I read it somewhere), but maybe only available for the prawn sandwich seats?
