So is the boycott over now you’re doing well? Not a pisstake, genuine question.
    Fair question Millwall fan.

Difficult to know the exact numbers but I would be surprised if the figure was more than 500 who boycotted and didn't just stop coming because we were shite (pre Bowyer)
Some boycotters have returned since the first month's of Duchatelet's tenure, some are on CL and have admitted they have come back.
Other started boycotting in the last two years and I noticed they started when we got relegated from Championship.
Some fans boycott home games but go to away matches.

The surge in the gate today was the fair weather fans which every club has.

    No. Not until Roland goes.

    No.

Like Luton had about the same numbers of supporters at today’s game as they used to get for a home game.

Success invigorates the lost and armchair supporters to make an appearance. Plus it was always going to be a good game of football with two sides who like to play the game as it should be with movement, craft, inspiration and skill.

You should have popped along. It would have made a welcome change from your your usual fair.

It’s a bit harsh to accuse anyone who goes to a third tier match between Charlton and Luton of being a “fair weather fan”.

    That's exactly what happened yesterday.
Ex season ticket holders (because of Roland) turned up yesterday but won't bother for Fleetwood or Burton etc

Plus other guys who just go to half a dozen home games a season. Pompey, Luton and Sunderland etc.

Seeing Luton who are top of the table was the attraction and the fact that Charlton have been winning.

If not "fair weather fans" what new handle would you use for this.
Football tourists also increase on bigger games even in the third tier.
