The idiot that did it has been arrested and is now in custody.  So, at least he wasn't just evicted from the ground.
Chizz. You don’t not get arrested and charged with at least two offences for what he just did.
  • Millwall v West ham is (in my opinion) probably the nastiest rivalry, but Birmingham v Villa has to be up there. Pure hatred.
The spanners v the hamsters seems to be from both side, B’ham v Villa seems to come from B’ham.
I don’t know, I think Villa are more than willing themselves. Just the the odd incidents that go to far always seem to happen at St Andrews.

But it’s a cracking derby - top 3 in my eyes for intensity.
Used to work in B’ham in the 90s, a lot of cab drivers wouldn’t work when city were at home.

Lucky Tyrone didn't stamp on his face when he was on the floor :open_mouth:

Throw away the key, or lock him in the villa dressing room for ten minutes after the game, see how brave he is then.
  • They’re certainly more scummy than Villa generally. Most clubs will find trouble there inc ourselves of course. Not sure that’s quite the same with Villa.
  • Surprised none of the players went in studs first there.

As a neutral I love a fierce, tense, bad- tempered derby, but that is so far over the line. The word 'disgraceful' is massively over used in football, but that really was. The way he milks it on his way off is sickening.
  • Heard he was really a Millwall fan.😉
  • Terrible behaviour

It has been reported that he has been arrested.  I was passing that information on.  So, if anyone thought he might have simply been escorted out of the ground, we now know that's not the case.

He is a westham fan, pretending to be a millwall fan, who is impersonating a brummy.
  • Wonder what the repercussions will be for Birmingham. Yes it's a fine line in that they can't control a lone nutter who decides to run on the pitch, but surely the FA will want to set an example and they'll be looking at a hefty fine or even suspended points deduction.
  • Or part or full ground closure.
  • Ref should of just abandoned the game

I'm glad someone else said this before I did!

  • Hendrie says Birmingham City fans will be appalled. The ones in the stand certainly weren't. They loved it.

Don’t agree with that. Can’t let people like that win and destroy it for everyone else.

This isn’t the first similar incident. Remember blues against Enkleman. The Hibs incident the other night and there have been others, Neil Lennon recently, one at Dundee.

So Lee Hendrie talking shit that it’s never happened before.
  • But when a player does it is it acceptable? Cantona for example.
  • The supporters behind the goal were celebrating and clapping. Deduct points so they are in a relegation bottle and see if they like it then
  • Punish the offender, prison i’d imagine and a life ban.

Then get on with things. Don’t give it the attention it doesn’t deserve.
