Charlton v Blackpool- Match Thread

Afternoon everyone, welcome to our match day thread from a very mild SE London.

Feels a pivotal match day today.

Play well and win, fan / player relationship will tighten further & a rallying togetherness may springboard us.

Play bad and lose, the transfer window, contract issues, Roland discontent (fans, manager, players) could see us imploding again...

One way or another, you’ve a feeling Lyle Taylor, returning hero, will be key today.

Will it be a goalscoring Kermorgant-style leadership display, or will it be another booking and another ban?

Come on Lyle, be THE MAN. Drive us forward fella 💪

Team news when announced. Come on you reds!!

Sounds to me like a better option if we have to go 3 at the back again. One of Aribo Reeves or Williams will have to play the full ninety minutes...

RHF rather than Fosu on the bench. Not sure I agree with that but he was atrocious last week.

That alongside the amount of injuries they have, this is a good opportunity for us today.

Looking forward to watching that midfield today.

That’s not a bad championship side and bench

We must score at least two goals because sod's law dictates Doodoo is nailed on to score against us... Even if he comes on in the 3rd minute of 2 added.

Southend can actually play football then?

Big decision by Bowyer. I have criticised Anfernee in the past but going on Sollys recent performances, he deserves his chance.

Weird, surely clubs take more than 18 to away matches. And someone else could have come down this morning.

Shows that despite our injury and owner issues that we're still one of the bigger clubs in terms of players etc. than most at this level
