perhaps it was a hard fought game and that's just what happened. I don't think tweeting him about their behaviour makes alot of sense what are you expecting him to say?

I thought their behaviour was one of the worst I’ve ever seen, so personally do think it’s worth asking. He is after all putting himself out there as some sort of expert in how to run a club and yet his team seem very unprofessional.
Football is very tribal and you tend to defend your own. I think their behaviour fell short at the end of the game and they were lucky three more players at least did not get sent off. They may have deserved a draw, but you can make an argument either way for the penalty which means you can't really complain to much about it. It wasn't the biggest miscarriage of justice imaginable which the behaviour of some of their players suggested it was.

Oh come on. The tactics of his team have little or nothing to do with him. As has been said on another thread, Taylor makes a habit of fouling keepers at corners and generally winding up the opposition. In the last few weeks we have had two goals disallowed because of him fouling at corners.
Curbishley signed Andy Todd, a player who was well known for being dirty and combatative with a disciplinary record to prove it, a couple of weeks after he was sent off for punching Graeme Stuart ( who was also sent off ).
Curbishley was also the manager when a bloke called Lee Bowyer played for us. He used to niggle away fouling the opposition for the whole ninety minutes. Later in his career he got sent off for punching a player on his own team! Recreationally he “ smoked “ and smashed up fast food outlets. Can you imagine what kind of team a bloke like that would put out if he ever became a manager?He would probably sign a striker who would accumulate eight yellows and a red card in little more than half a season. Taylor has clearly been a great success for us but part of that is how he annoys the opposition.
Even at this level, Accrington are a tiny club and have to “ compete “. It seems that Accrington will avoid relegation this year. They are being professional. If they overdo that then it is up to the referee to deal with it.
However, Holt employs the coaches who utilise these tactics. If i owned a company and some of my employees caused embarassment/wrongdoing then i would want some explaining.
Shouldnt laugh but after the supporter accidently kicks Bielik in the nuts, Bauer looks at Bielik on the floor, then scans his eyes around obviously quizically thinking 'what the fuck has happened there?'
Another anecdote from yesterday, was after the pen went in and Grant peeled off to the corner, Cullen giving it large to one of their players at the edge of the box.

may I ask you if you are old enough to have been at the Battle of he Bridge, Chelsea v Charlton in 1989.? You remember Paul Miller? He was an arsehole of the first order, but he kept us up that day, and his ridiculous equaliser isn't what I'm talking about. He's a legend because of that game, as are all the players in a red shirt that day. Now ask a Chelsea fan who was there that day, what they thought.

Being a 'tiny club' doesnt give them the licence to deploy the tactics that they clearly used yesterday.
I was at the talk - I think Andy Holt is a top bloke and had warm feelings towards AS after it; they're not so warm now after their players lost it and should have had enough sent off to get the game abandoned. Standing around giving a kicking to Taylor while he was on the floor was an utter disgrace. I understand why teams in Accrington's position are physical; Taylor winding them up doesn't excuse how they went about it yesterday. That said, Andy Holt talks a lot of sense about how the game is run. In part, Accrington have to play the way they do because of their resources - same as Wimbledon, Rochdale, Oldham etc.

The fact that he's happy to spend pre-match in a pub talking to a group of Charlton fans rather than in the lounges with RM & TK says it all.
