Some channels repeat what films were on the other day... i.e. Elf has been on the TV twice in the last few days yet firstly on ITV and then the second time on ITV2; same with the Gladiator

I know but ice age, terminator 2, eddie the eagle, Gladiator and Vertigo are not on today they are on tomorrow.
Does the saying 'Groundhog day' meaning a repetitive day come from the film or does it pre date it?

Sorry Paulie but I’ve not enjoyed a Star Wars film since The Original Star Wars ( whatever they are calling it now ) and The Empire Strikes Back . They do nothing for me whatsoever but you are more than welcome to recommend The Force Awakens . The irony is , it put me to sleep !!
