Surprised they didn't pick Ebbsfleet. They wouldn't sell that out.

I understand that they prefer playing on a "bed of lucky heather."

I may of been misinformed of course but i hope Heather is up to the job!

So what happens if the EFL say no? - Surely this should be resolved before tickets go on sale?

Might as well play it behind closed doors!

No Katie Tax? Surely a pay on the night admin fee is in order, along with a one 'print off at home' fee?

To be fair, we're perfectly entitled to charge Gillingham a fair rate for hiring The Valley. It's their fault for replacing their pitch on October!

Should be charging them the same amount that corporate companies pay to hire the pitch in the summer

Really rub salt into the wounds

It will be more anyway, as the floodlights will need to be used

Have made a note to avoid the westbound A2 from junction 4 next Tuesday.

They'll be horses, tarmacadum roadshows and pop up carnivals everywhere.

Anyone care to wager that the day after they play at The Valley they are coincidently re-laying the turf at their place!

They're holding the world beach volleyball championship there this weekend

I read somewhere that Gillingham had sold 54 ticket for this!

I imagine there will be a few Tottenham diehards along, especially those who haven't been to The Valley, and it'll be nearer for them than traipsing to Gillingham!
