https://www.bexley.gov.uk/news/emergency-road-closure-bellegrove-roadBellegrove Road in Welling will be closed from 7am to 7pm on Saturday 22 September following the discovery of swollen rotting timber on an overhead Railway Bridge.
Network Rail will be implementing the emergency road closure due to an extreme high level risk of wood and debris falling into the road and pavement near the Westwood Lane junction.
With extremely high winds expected to continue and worsen over the weekend, it is not possible to put two-way traffic lights in place.
Advance warning signs will be placed on the affected highway and traffic cones will be placed on the north side of Wickham Street to prevent parking and help with traffic flow.
