Oh so we're playing that game are we?

Joni Mitchell, Bob Dylan, The Clash

But their music does leave me cold. I don't hate it like, say, Queen or Zepplin, but it does nothing for me.

Surprised you picked on Joni as her later stuff is very jazz influenced. And not sure why you pick Dylan and the Clash either. Both great but not The Band, The Jam or the Velvet Underground.
I was dredging up artists I remembered you liked as best as I could for (shoddy) comic effect is all!
    Oh I see, It's like a jazz joke. No funny and doesn't make sense : - )

Since some of you mentioned Adele... am I the only one that doesn't like her husky voice at all? The first time I heard her hit song 'Someone Like You', I was like 'what?'.....

The Beatles I am afraid, I have tried but just don't get them, I know I am wrong based on their popularity and influence but just not for me.

Red Hot Chilli Peppers, no idea what they are all about

Nickelback- Rockstar, the most uncool, un-soulfull shit I have ever heard, quite rightly ended up on a DFS advert.

True story-my wife's hairdresser also does Gwyneth Paltrow's hair and spent time with Gwyneth and Chris as part of the retinue.
One day Justin Tomberlake was due to visit and the retinue got excited. Chris Martin got upset by this and said, 'you don't get excited when I am about, I am a rock star too.'
To which the hairdresser replied ' You aren't really though are you Chris'.
    Sums him up for me.

    Neither are rock stars though.

My list is way too long to pick three. Practically 80% of all musicians/bands.
But three you might not expect off the top of my head.

    Spandau Ballet, Radiohead, Moody Blues.

Had a bad Moody Blues experience in Bromley in about 1969, but I'll keep that for another thread ;-)

Beatles, Oasis, any band that is deemed as 'alternative' by self entitled music types, only for said band to then grow in popularity and be classed as too mainstream by said self entitled music types.

That reminds me of Ocean Colour Scene, tried getting mates into them in 95 they didn't like them and weren't interested. We went to Oasis in 96 at Knebworth but I went to see OCS as warm up. All of a sudden said mates were big fans haha
