Forster-Caskey: 5 - tried hard but his delivery on set pieces, his forward passing and his movement were all very poor. not sure why he takes set pieces. Aribo: 5 - ineffectual, had a couple of silky runs but too lightweight in the middle. Fosu-Henry: 5 - probably shouldn't of been playing. got a bit of trickery out of him but hardly got down the wing. lacked his usual spark and pace. Magennis: 4 no service. won a bit in the air but the balls played to him were hopeless. Ajose: 3 no service and looked far too lightweight against their centre backs. poor reading of the game and poor passing. Mavididi: 3.5 didn't see him do much. Kaikai: 2 don't want to see him in a Charlton shirt again.
tapping the ball around in a congested midfield was a disaster of a tactic. no width, relying on full backs to make the width wasn't a good idea as one of them Dijksteel doesn't seem that kind of player and da silva had two men to beat to get down the wing. the team created hardly anything. really disappointing end to the season.
