Bowyer: 4 I cant understand why facing a team with so many players over 6ft tall that Reeeves and Ajose played . They were out muscled,neither of them even attempt an aerial challenge even to put their opponent under a bit of pressure,neiher of them have pace,neither of them can take on a player and neither of them keep the ball very well. Joe Aribo and Zyro should have both either started or shold have come on much earlier. Shrewsbury are generally big and strong and Reeves and Ajose were not the right selection for that game:i hope he changes it for the away leg otherwise expect more of the same.

His shot was a foot higher than their goal with the keeper beaten so small margins. Forster-Caskey: 6.5 Was out strengthed a bit but was also contributing, needed a bit more help from Kashi. Mavididi: 6 Wasn't coming off for him, but he will be a key player on Sunday. Needs Fosu on with him as a double threat. Magennis: 8 won a t least 70% of his headers and battled hard. Can't blame Bow for the substitutions, all of which made sense.
The ref did OK but was very lenient (only 5 mins added time over two halves was ridiculous).
