With no one to protest against at the Valley, is it now the time to pass whatever is left in CARD funds to the ROT campaign?
To my mind, Belgium is the only way forward.

I don’t understand. If CARD members agree to finance something what is to stop them? I suspect that there is not a huge surplus, but what are they going to do with it?
I am not suggesting they disband, but now seems the time to put pressure on Rolly. There will not be any calls for a protest at Blackburn which leaves next season if he is still here. ROT are in the perfect place to put on pressure now and through the summer.

CARD do not agree to finance anything, they make a request for funds just like anyone else.
Hi @Redrobo just to confirm CARD and ROT members are in dialogue over the way forward for what is a common cause so rest assured, whilst your question is a reasonable one, its not a subject thats being ignored and certainly no arguments between either groups, in fact some of us are members of both.
I should add that that is a personal statement not an official one as a coalition I cant speak for the group
On the question of funding for ROT, you'll be pleased to hear that just last week I had a discussion with two of the ROT committee and confirmed that the protest fund would be pleased to consider any request from them for funding. I also spelt out what would need to be included in the bid and said that, if it was, I would be supportive of their request. The same is true for @Curb_It. It is our decision alone.
Personally, I like what ROT are doing and will join in the event that the club remains unsold at the end of the season. Although, like @SE7toSG3, I shouldn't speak for CARD as a whole, I think it's fair to say that CARD are supportive of the ROT campaign, which is seen as complementary to the protests.
On a broader level, the protest fund remains open to approaches from any individuals or groups who want to mount a protest or campaign against Duchatelet. Of course, we all hope that the takeover goes through soon and that it will not be necessary to use all the funds (in which case, we have thoughts on what we might do with those funds) but all the time RD still owns the club, the fund is there to help push him out. There may not be protests now, due to the prevailing circumstances, but that's not to say there wouldn't be protests next season, should the unthinkable happen and Duchatelet retain ownership of the club.
