I thought it was pretty original when they were singing it last season but looked it up and FC United were singing it in 2008 as an anti Glazer song and Birmingham and Huddersfield quickly followed. Chester and Wrexham also sing it

Thought it sounded great, though looking around the Valley last night thought 'Pretty Vacant' might have been more appropriate.

‘No Fun’ would be more appropriate

Think it says something when opposing teams are thrashing out to Sex Pistols, whilst the loudest song we have at the moment is from Earth, Wind and Fire.

Think you'll find the following authentic and original terrace classics all stemmed from the Valley faithful:

You'll never wank alone (started by the half time bog cubicle smokers)

Glory Glory Holes Men United (see above)

Hobbling on Together (the West Stand faithful)

Glad It's All Over (belted out by all at full time)

I'm Forever Blowing Covered Enders (I think @cafcdave123 coined this one)

Bertie Mee said to Bill Shankly
Have you heard of the North Bank Highbury?
Shanks said no, I don't think so
But I've heard of the Charlton, aggro.
Ah la la la la la la
Ah la la la la la la
Ah la la la la la la
    We are the Charlton, aggro.

    circa 1968

They don't write 'em like that any more.

We hate Andy Pandy and we hate Bill and Ben
We hate Ken Dodd and his Diddy men
We don't give a toss and we don't give a wank
We took the Arsenal north bank

Incidentally where did the "I'm into something good" song come from, as that's been sung at the last couple of home matches?

    Then there was;

    Jeremy the Sugar Puffs bear
Has bought some boots and cropped his hair
And left the woods to join the Charlton Skiiiiiiiinheads

Man U have been singing it for 12 months. I think it was Peterborough who were singing it origInally.

And before anyone asks, Earth Wind and Fire’s September (never gives the ball awaaay) was first sung by Newcastle in 2015
