I thoroughly recommend the app called "Citymapper" fantastic for these sorts of things, especially when you might need to know right now and not have time for people on here to answer!
I work in Paddington. Get on back of train at Bexleyheath, change at Waterloo east on to jubilee at Southwark. Door 18. Exit opposite door walk though tunnel directly in front of you to bakerloo line and for Paddington exit walk up to the right about a 3rd of the way up platform to get on train for 3 stops to exit same side. If you don't get off at the right door you get stuck in queue for escalators.
P.p.s if you were a Charlton fan, you wouldn't need to ask.

Does anyone know if the prices for Scunthorpe away on 25 November will get any cheaper? Been checking on trainline and they've been always at £92.10 for several weeks (even with the 12 week advance purchase window) and are the same all day? Has anyone been before know if it usually costs less? Maybe there's something important on up that way this day....

As @palarsehater recommends or try splitting tickets, i.e single to Doncaster then single to Scunthorpe and same as outward journey, sometimes it ends up cheaper that way.
If it were me I'd go this way. It might be a little longer than some routes, but there's more train action and you get to avoid the notorious Southern Rail:

My own train advice request here for a mate of mine... Have a return ticket from Bexleyheath to London Terminals, want a single ticket from Bexleyheath to Strood. If going from London to Strood, do I have to use the Bexleyheath Line as per the existing / new tickets or can I get a train using the following options:
- London Charing Cross to Strood (Direct via. Woolwich or Direct via. Sidcup) - London Victoria to Rochester (Direct via. Bromley South) and then a train back to Strood
Or is the only route allowed: London to Dartford (via. Bexleyheath) change and get a Strood train from there as my mate is concerned that should there be a ticket inspector on any of the above trains he'll get fined.
I remember years ago going from work to a Southend game on a Friday night (year Kyle Reid scored in the last minute to make it 2-1), and even in Essex was allowed to use my Bexleyheath season ticket as far as Zone Five and then got a separate ticket from Zone Five to complete the rest of the journey
