How about every now and then, repeat above but hoof the ball to the left into the empty space occupied by our left back, who is aware that it may happen.

Couple of times Amos tried to find Clarke on the touchline. Didn't always work but he tried.
Also Southend pressed high. Against other sides Amos has passed it out more when able.
